others are having a discourse on who won on the Mavuika vs Capitano fight, for me it's a draw...they're both in equal power and like Bran said it's a close fight. Others say Capitano "ran away" but when you look closely, he's still ready to throw a punch and the night wind came from behind him, it looked more like he was pulled away from the fight or he was asked to retreat. Anyway, I really REALLY love that cutscene, easily one of the best ones out there for me.

For people still confused about the night kingdom and stuff, in short: they go to war to a certain location invaded by abyss > people die and their send to night kingdom ruled by wayob> wayob and ode to resurrection ceremonies bring them back to life with the help of Mavuika and the sacred flame. This time the night kingdom got corrupted by the Abyss power and the wayob can't respond to te resurrection ceremonies, that's why Mavuika couldn't tell where Kachina's soul was, the Wayob are the proxies between the realm of dead and Natlan and only the archon has the authority to bring people back, wonder if the gnosis it's being used at all tho, guess we'll see next quests

I'm actually glad Capitano didn't win. Everytime a Harbinger appears in quests they get glazed over tremendously, and just start stomping people and getting things their way with no effort. It makes the characters and archons of other nations look extremely weak and incompetent by comparison. Like, seriously, if the Tsaritza has a squad of 11 people that can just walk into any nation and freaking boss around even the archons, why not just conquer the world then? Since clearly nobody can stand against the Harbingers, it should be pretty easy.

From a logical storytelling and plot point of view it will be really weird if any of the harbingers even the best one could defeat a warlord Archon like Mavuika, Ei and the likes in 1v1 situation. Cuz if they do then it means all the Tsaritsa and the top 3 harbingers need to do is to just visit every single nation and took all the gnosis by force, which they apparently can't thus need to use more diplomatic or backhanded approach or full on scale war (which is unsustainable). Remember this is an Archon we're talking about, entity could split mountains, and call upon meteor. If anything imo i'm glad hoyoverse did the right thing and make Mavuika won albeit in hard difficulity instead of going through the crowd pleasing route aka letting the Capitano won (And i really hope they don't backtrack on this on the next couple episodes). This made all the geopolitic and world power of Teyvat more realistic and sensible like in Avatar.

My picks for final two heroes are 1- Chasca - She is in a Shenhe situation, she was raised by Qucusaurs and hence finds it hard to assimilate in human society. He is most likely the traitor who is helping Capitano. I know a lot of people must be expecting Citlali, but i feel she is more of a support unit that helps you from the base station. Plus it would be interestinf if its Ororon. Ororon probably has his reasons for helping Fatui, but perhaps thamks to Mualani(whose name means Unity btw), he will agree to put aside his differences and come to the aid of his nation. That would be a nice turn of events tbh. The other character who can possibly take his place is capitano...or rather hia true identity which i feel he has hidden behind his mask/facade of Il Capitano. Il Capitano, the character from Comedia Dellarte was actyally a coward with no military history. He just puts up a facade and his title is also he made up. I m not saying Capitano is a fraud, but rather Capitano's true identiy was a coward in some sense or another(afraid to die, afraid to fight abyss hence ran away, etc) and somehow ended up extending his lifezpan in this process. Having strength doesnt have to mean having the courage. The actual guy is perhaps a coward, the capitano persona is the facade he uses to make himself sound grander than he is. At the end he might acknowledge himself(and not the capitano identity) and accept himself, shedding his mask and obtaining the final name's recognition.

Actually, Bennett has a LOT of emotional issues. He puts on a front of “happiness” so he can live as normally as he can. In fact, in one of his voice lines he essentially states that he’s tried to unalive himself but found that the universe wouldn’t let him die. Plus, his parents abandoned him when he was a baby, and he has immense difficulty making and sustaining friends. :’( so yeah my boy has a shit ton of emotional issues unfortunately

Mavuika is a human draws energy from the Divine Throne, so she also has the power level of a God or even higher (Archon). The fight isn't really one-sided in nature, IMO. If Capitano fought someone like the Shogun, then he'd get absolutely destroyed since she actually IS a god who draws energy from the Divine Throne, and she has thousands of years of combat and kills under her belt. Though, I do think powerscaling in Genshin can be tricky sometimes

In the end of the game, everything is destroyed and we are back at the begging of the game in the next circle but now with all the memories and knowleage of past Teyvat basically doing speedrun of "saving the world" making diferent decissions like: arriving to Liyue earlier to stop Zhongli from the transaction with Fatui, saving Teppei and changing Ei's mind earlier before all tragical events arrive or maybe even collecting gnoses by ourself, joining Fatui, tell Neuvi about Narval, joining Hexenzirkle, focusing on 7 elemental dragons or some other crazy things

About Mavuika, I think the point is that its not just a powerful human taking the title of Archon, it’s the fact that she actually ascends to god good as a reward for winning. So really, not only did Capitano fight an actual Archon, but a well trained, powerful war veteran. I could be wrong but that’s my take on the situation. Also, he was ready to keep fighting so he didn’t even actually loose

A fun theme that Natlan seems to be delving into is glory vs duty as the concept of War. We know that War was once perceived as "Duty" by the Natlans after the cataclysm, and they would go off to fight the Abyss not for glory, but to protect their home and because it was required. However, the Ode of Resurrection made things too easy, and as they got stronger and began to "win" more and more, the concept of Duty was abandoned for Glory. Sure, they may recite their historical lines about duty and sacrifice, but people like Mualani never really seemed to understand what it meant, more excited about the crowds, the cheering, and the festivities. Being brought back was just part of the deal. We can see this being true in the fact that as soon as it became a possibility that Kachina may be gone for good, she and many others began to panic, slinging blame and losing focus, not willing to accept that someone truly died when they should have been brought back. The only person who seems to actually believe that War is about Duty (aside from the Archon and those already chosen) is Kachina herself who, while terrified during her time with the Abyss, still upheld her Duty to her people, using it to remain strong even when she wanted to give in. Even despite thinking she was weak, she still believed that she should fulfill her Duty for her people. 23:32 Yeah, you fell into the bait. The people TALK about their duty, but pay attention to what they respond to and focus on despite their words, and you'll notice a lot of them care more for the glory than actually sacrificing their lives. And after the Ancient Name thing was said... I'm DAMN SURE that's how we'll be called, once we emerge from the Abyss, being resurrected by our Ancient Name and step up to seal the deal with our new Pyro Powers, granted to us by all six Wayobs. At that point, our previously not spoken out Ancient Name will be revealed - it will be something with A LOT of lore implications - and then, as we stand besides Mavuika and the six other heroes, she will say it: "Please lend us your power, in this final war, Seventh Hero of Natlan! Sure you can say that he did not went all out if that helps you cope, but do not go around inventing powerups that you do not know the man will have. Where did we get this idea? Every harbinger having a transformation is not a rule. There is an in lore reason for every harbinger transformation we saw, but that does not mean that every one of them is gonna have that. Edit: The man also does not use a delusion from what we can see from his model. There is no vision or delusion on him. So going around and talking about him only using his delusion against an archon and holding his own is most likely not true. He probably gets his powers from other sources we do not know about yet.
