They tend to survive longer when you stack them in groups of 2 instead of 4. It's actually a waste to concentrate them since groups can only focus on 1 thing at a time.
“Delete any building they can hide in!” Now you just have yo take it one step further Bo. Delete any FOREST they can hide in. Channel your inner American vietnam vet and deploy agent orange
I tried so damn hard to win this one, but at the end of the day my soviet troops were incapable of fending off the hordes of nato equipment... I now understand how the russian conscripts feel right now
@@lonewaffle231 If you Vet your troops to increase their combat effectiveness you get fewer of them. In most warno matches that's not an issue since before you run out you either win or establish such a lead that the enemy cant catch up before the match timer ends. I have since adjusted my decks to handle bo's unlimited attritional warfare style. At the end of the video and the match my teammate was down to support units and I had no more fuel, and low munitions, for my tanks so my line was basically just going to sit there and die in place.
The game before this, Red Dragon, was/is similar: every vehicle is on wheels or tracks and all infantry is motorized or helo-borne, but the instant you move out of your treeline or town you just get rinsed with tank-fire, ATGMs and AAA. I haven't played WARNO yet, so I'm not sure if they've added it yet, but in my RD experience smoke is the key (read: only way) to attack.
"All positions will explode." I like that you realized that you were just being dumb about the LOS thing after you realized they were on the downward slope of the hill. Way too many people would just scream that the game was bugged. Though it really should have taken that inclination into account.
@@Bokoen1 For a game that places huge importance on sightlines, it's somewhat difficult to pick them out with a naked eye. Had similar issues in Red Dragon and that didn't even have the LOS tool!
@@Bokoen1 Yes, but I work at a US Fires Brigade and they are different systems. MARS is just a German name for the 270. HIMARS is much less capable than the 270 because it only has one pod as opposed to two and can't move in all terrain. HIMARS is the budget M270 which is why we gave it to the Ukrainians. Both do shoot the same munitions though. There's just fierce rivalry between M270 units and HIMARS units and we don't like how HIMARS has entered the popular culture over the superior OG lol.
@@Bokoen1 Valid. As I said, the artillery autism is strong with me. It's not really an issue but it tickles that irrational itch. If I was full blown autism I'd be mad that those are shooting below their minimum range, and can't shoot like 80 or so or 250+ km lol.
In Red Dragon terrain elevation was clearly distinguishable, WARNO tried to go for a more realistic look, but that hardly works in a fast paced PvP RTS.
Do it, if you’ve played Red Dragon and Steel Division it’s kinda like a fusion between those with better graphics. If you’re unfamiliar with those games WARNO is essentially a more hardcore, more “realistic” rts game. It also has great graphics and is fun.
It's HIMARS lol. And the Mars is just German name for 270. And it's to do with the munitions. Stuff in the 80s wasn't guided, it is now. HIMARS is just wheeled M270 with only one pod as opposed to two.
Wargame might have no more support but when playing warno it just felt...clunky, what features your referencing I don't know, didn't notice anything particular that would differentiate it from wargame that was positive. Either way at least you and your mates made a funny watch.
@@cameronthompson5516 Tell me you didn't played Warno since months, without telling me you didn't played Warno since months. Maybe it felt clunky because it is different ? Doesn't mean Wargame is better. Feature added from the top of my head : Line of sight tool, order before deployment, unit traits, tactical group, smart orders, behavior toggles, selling trucks, towed weapons. Warno is still in EA, with far less content that an old game like Wargame, but it is gaining steam update after update. It also has a different style as Wargame, it's a slower and smaller scale. It took time to adapt, but as 2k hour Wargame player, I am now exclusively playing Warno.
not quite. Not at all, actually, AFU is very conserved with its usage of reserves. Also you might want to ask russian imbeciles stationed in Robotyne and around it how the push went. Oh right, you can't, these bastards are all fucking dead, lmao.
