Eeh. Depends on the type of relationship you have. There's some couples in open relationships, they do things that "normal" couples would definitely consider to be cheating. But yes, in a "normal" monogamous relationship Matsuri is correct.

Amén brother. Lately it seems faithfulness is seen as weird or weak. It's fucking sad.

Yeah I've seen a lot of cheaters amongst friends and family, and they sure have a lot of pretty justifications for why they did it. But they don't seem to consider the act so bad as long as they had a reason. It's like killing somebody for revenge. At the end of the day, you killed somebody, doesn't matter what the reason is.

To me, this sounds like an argument from someone that's never been in a relationship. If you do not draw out lines of what constitutes cheating at the beginning, then that leads to situations where one person views something as cheating and the other person does not. Sometimes, one person's view on it is too lax, other times someone's view is too strict. Drawing the line is coming to a united compromise as to what's acceptable, and what isn't. Would you consider talking to a bartender about your day cheating? Some people would. Would you consider paying for an erotic massage cheating? Some people wouldn't. If you don't draw the line, you risk a conflict where both sides believe they are right.

Finding love isn't something that should be rushed, Atleast that's what I think, It can't be told by words as in "Oh I love this person" it's more of a feeling of being comfortable with that person and feeling sad or lonely without them is what i think love is, I think this way cause the relationship i have right now is something like that and is something i never want to give away or let go, Once you find true love, Hold onto it my boy, For you only feel true love once.

@@yoursonisold8743 when she mentioned Fubuki was kinda joking, she already had with Fubuki in the early days of hololive something very close of what she went with Sara. They even stoped doing collabs for about a year and Matsuri did some emo streams just like with Sara. But now that's behind them but i think that Matsuri now knows pretty weel that they are only friends.

@@yoursonisold8743 For sure, but i do think that her thing for Fubuki is on the past, Matsuri was more reletless in the past to the point to be a little annoying, now the way she expresses herself is more like tongue and cheek comments, i would like to say that she matured but we do see a little of the relentless Matsuri in her interactions with Hoshikawa. But then again they are all vtubers and in reality this could be all fabricated to boost engagement and irl Matsuri isn't even into girls lol

I don't think that's a change, more so an unraveling, under the layers of hyped up Genki exterior, she's genuinely gentle and honest to the core

Yeah, I’ve been kinda busy so I can only translate smaller bits. When I have more time, I’ll do a much longer one. I really like these twitcasts and the atmosphere they have.

That she knows she's an untouchable idol to most and that finding real love from a fan is nearly impossible, sure. Granted, Matsuri is the exact type of girl I would 100% fall for (as well as a certain boomer pirate; perverted girls are best because they're so honest) but I don't think anyone would actually go for Matsuri herself even she did express interest, if only not to cause hardship for her career.

@@AirahsELL IF that's what she's trying to say (which I don't think it is), then she is wrong. You can love someone and still be in a relationship with someone else. That's not being unfaithful. It's just being realistic. If I had the opportunity to be with Matsuri, I'd take it in an instant, and I would love her completely faithfully. Being willing to settle for another relationship does not imply a lack of love. It simply means that they are realistically considering their own happiness, which is what everyone should do. Devoting yourself to an impossible love is unhealthy. You can certainly love them, and hold out hope, but if you pass up an opportunity for a good relationship, because of it, you are an absolute fool, and asking for despair.

That's just Matsuri being playful. Everyone has their own serious sides.

Hoshikawa might be Matsuri's number one, but Fubuki will always be Matsuri's number zero.

Because Fubuki was actually a big part of why Matsuri joined

@@zenoslash1 So i just thought of something, i only recently started watching holo live stuff but does fubuki ever "flirt and cheat" like most of the idol's or did that cause some blacklash in the past? Because i don't know how matsuri or the fan base would react to that. But i heard form a past colab that small part or fubuki's fanbase got pissed at her when she shared her "Fetish's" and wasn't staying "Pure". So i got the impression that fubuki walks on eggshells compared other members.

@@davidmartinez6092 There will always be haters, and they'll jump on any opportunity to hate on their idol. Most fans are like you and me who really don't care either way. I think Fubuki in general holds herself to be more of a "representative" of the group, rather than because of haters or anything.

First of all, it's important to remember that Matsuri is unique. She's not like the others. Second, while I personally believe that Matsuri is genuine, you have to understand that she is fully dedicated to her craft as an idol, and that she has prior experience in the field before Hololive. She's clearly very skillful and knowledgeable about how the idol game works and how fans think, which means you have to be extra attentive to what she's doing to your emotions, and whether or not it's intentional. For example, this, not-so-subtle, hypocritical speech about faithfulness and cheating, is designed to keep fans, that she knows will never get a shot at her, in line, and keep them focused on her, regardless of what she does.

I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about. Matsuri's twitcasts don't even garner that many viewers, as it's usually just where Matsuri goes if she has something she wants to talk or rant about. This was only a five minute bit in an hour thirty minute broadcast where she talks about many different things, so don't think too hard about it :)

@@zenoslash1 Well, any content that she posts by the name of "Matsuri Natsuiro" is overseen by management. Don't get me wrong, it could have come from her, but that doesn't make it any better. It was manipulative. I don't take offense to that or anything, because it IS her business and livelihood, and she does have to secure it, but, all the same, it's disappointing. Regardless of how much time she spent on it, the message was clear, and it's not like it's a topic she isn't familiar with.

I'm just curious then, is she just not allowed to approach such topics because it's "manipulative"? I don't think that's right, and it certainly doesn't align with Matsuri's philosophy on how she treats her fans, which is that they should know everything and anything about her.

@@zenoslash1 I don't mean to come off as rude, but idol agencies micromanage EVERYTHING. Why would the Twitcasts be any different? Even on her personal channel, she still can't do anything that would violate her contract, and we know nothing about how strict their contracts and NDAs are. Managers, producers, editors, oversight committees, etc. There are all positions of people that study, for a profession, the best way to manipulate emotions of consumers to maximize profits. Also, unless it came down, specifically from a manager asking her to fit something like this in somewhere, I absolutely think she should avoid manipulative topics, especially if it's regarding a topic she is so intimately familiar with, like idol fandoms and gachikoi.

Arthur except Cover isn’t a traditional idol agency. They give their idols free reign in the content they produce and simply gives them suggestions or the tools they need. If her management genuinely cared about stopping Matsuri from doing things, half the clips currently translated simply wouldn’t have been able to exist. Talking about Hoshikawa during Holo Comi or her twitcasts wouldn’t have been allowed either. None of Matsuri’s twitcasts are planned, and she simply talks about something if she has something to say. Look at the twitcast with her on Hoshikawa and tell me that was planned or her management manufactured it. Not very likely considering it damaged Matsuri’s image and she spent almost an hour praising a vtuber from a rival company.
