@@pipidoodle8607 as she mentioned in the video it's a substitute for shea butter if they have allergies to nuts..shea butter is a nut..hope that explains and helps in answer to your question!
@@pipidoodle8607 Mango butter is not better than Shea butter, no one said that. However some people don't like the smell of unrefined Shea butter. They can substitute with mango butter. They are both amazing butters that work in different ways. You can see our website blog for how the two butters work in skin and hair care. www.osloveorganics.org
Thanks so much for the video. I already purchase mango, kokum and I even bought cupuacu butter and I love them all. Now that you’ve explained the differences, I’ll be ordering more from you. Those I’ve purchased from Oslove so far are of superior quality and have allowed me to make some of the best body butter. I no longer purchase store bought butters and lotions since learning how to make my own. Peace and blessings to you.
Aloe butter and mango butter are always my favorite they're lighter and I love the feel of the aloe butter. And I also love the real light fluffyness of mango butter more lightweight and silkier to me 🤓⚡👌🏼🥰🌟💯‼️
looking to buy from your store! which of your products does not harden after being whipped? shea butter still hardens and im looking for a butter that remains soft or "whipped"?
Ooh lala! these butters just give me such good vibes. i love the smell. of Murumuru its like a rain forest to me. very fresh. i have some purchased from a local store but i want to try one of your brand butters now. I am looking for cacao butter just to oil pull with.(sometimes i use coconut oil) one particular scent i dont care for is cocoa. i am fairly new to the many different ones, but since im battling Alopicia, i am very interested in which may help the most. Any info please leave me a message. Please and thank you God Bless for. the video!
Hi Oslove, nice vid. I'd like to know what you recommend: I love cocoa butter, but when mixing up my concoction, it is difficult for the essential-oil scents to come through due to the overpowering chocolate scent. Which of your butters has the cocoa consistency without such an overpowering scent?
Several customers complained too so we responded to this issue by adding deodorized organic cocoa butter to our line up. It is not bleached so you can receive all the benefits of cocoa butter without the strong scent.
Do you have any advice on how to calculate a recipe for body butter? I want to use mango and cocoa butter, with apricot kernal, avocado, and maybe Castor oil (so at least 3 oils). I'll add fragrance and mica powder for color at some point, but I have to get the basics down, I just can't figure out how to calculate it all. Do you have any tips? 💖
Here’s the recipe I use when making beard butter. Its the same for body butter. 1/2 cup of butter to 1/4 cup of oil. You can use any combination of butters and oils that you so desire. I don’t whip my final product and it produces (4) 2oz. tins completely full.
If you prefer a thick butter, use 3-4 parts butter to one part oil. If you prefer a softer texture, use two parts butter to one part oil. I would include Kokum butter to reduce the oiliness that may result. Hope this helps :)
I don't really know much about yellow shea butter but I believe it has an added ingredient; red palm oil so I'd suggest just go for simple unrefined shea butter.
I would like to order all of your softer butters, do you have a sample pack of them all? I already have Shea, mango and cocoa but not from your line. I ordered them before I came across your video and I hated that! Also do you have scented oils to make the butters smell Great?
Thank you for making this video!! You’re one of the few I’ve seen that goes into details about these butters and I LOVE IT!! You’re actually the ONLY one I’ve seen so far that explains this many oil butters. Thank you SO MUCH!!! 🤍
Great video. Ive been looking into butters and trying to find one that is the most creamiest. Ive just checked out your website but Im in the UK - do you have a UK distributor?
@@osloveorganics Aww thats a shame. With shipping + custom tax it will probably work out too expensive for me. I appreciate your response though, thanks!
I've found that no matter which butters I mix and whip, they become very stiff and dense the next day. What would be your recommendation, for thickness but not a lotion texture, where it stays that way the next day?
We have a great recipe for that. You need to work with more of the soft butters and you will get exactly what you are looking for. You can request it by sending us an email info@osloveorganics.org. We will supply you all the ingredients.
Are you whipping it alone? You need to incorporate other butters and oils as it has a high melting point naturally. That is why it is used for making chocolate. You should include it in small amounts in body butters.
Is it possible to whip kokum butter without any other ingredients!?? My little one gets eczema and her skin is VERY sensitive to things. I just want my plain kokum butter WHIPPED.
Greetings, just a heads up to check your links above for broken links. The mango butter gave me a 404 error :) I found it searching the site though and, I'm super stoked to give you my future business and combine some of your awesome with my friends amazing essential oil company
Hi, I would like to make a butter for my baby with eczema, I have cupaucu, mango, kokum and avocado butter in mind. Would all of these be a good combination to make a thick body butter? I also would like to grape seed oil and or hemp seed oil, and lastly I’d like to add an essential oil do you have any dilution guides?
i need some help i have some beeswax that i want to make it into more solid texture because i added some cocoa butter and it'a solid but as soon as i touch it to apply it it becomes kind of oily so any recomandations?
You added a medium textured butter in with 2 hard butters. We suggest you visit our blog to learn about how to combine butters for your desired texture. See blog: www.osloveorganics.org/blog-new/
I just bought some shea butter that is off white in color, extremely hard with a light smokey scent. Is this a true shea butter and should i break it down to make it pliable?
