I produced this video in partnership with Clairol Professional.
I have always adored blonde curls but was never quite ready to dive all the way in and go blonde. I usually have a medium brown base hair colour and lighten the overall look with highlights. This time I joined the Clairol Professional's Blonde Squad representing New York and stepped it up a notch!
I worked with a stylist because my previous hair colour had grown out so much it made the process a little more complicated but Clairol Professional makes the products simple enough for you to actually do this at home!

Love it!!! I need Oliver here in DC! Sally's Beauty suxs and is overpriced. I bought these hair products at independent hair supply places mostly operated by Koreans in the DMV (that's another story). The only 1thing missing was Oliver applying the base around parts of the hair lifted by Kalediscpe hair lightening bleach they don't make anymore 👎 Do you have any other videos of how this is done?

ok I get it , Kalida color did the light ones, but the Leve 12 not sure , so, there was a space of hair that was between the 1&half inch touch up, by appling the #12 you painted in-between highlights and roots and mid shaft to line of demarcation,right. not sure if you made 2 different mies of the 12 or you mixed them together. if separate it would seem difficult on next followup appointment to recreate the exact same way.no,yes??

Love how the color turned out!!! Thanks for sharing this. I've been natural for 6 years now and plan to go blond before the summer begins. Is it possible for me to go straight from my medium brown color to blonde ??? I will most likely use a professional's touch at a salon instead of doing it at home because I've never died my full head of hair before.
