Navage Nasal Irrigator Review 

I bought this Navage Fall 2022. I was scare to use it. But after seeing this review, it helps me more than this guy knew. I realized that I have quite alot of gunky so I have been using Navage 4x a day for three weeks. Now, I am down to 2x and I LOVE IT. I cannot imagine my life without the Navage!!!!

You're supposed to use distilled water so that you don't get that burning sensation. They say that on the netty pots, also.

Mine came with 2 nose pillows which is designed for 2 people, which I wanted it that way! You did great and I like how fun you made it😇 and being real👍🏼 just used mine for the first time today and like it so far👍🏼😇🌸

It's not uncomfortable at all... esp. if you heat the water. I normally put a cup of water in the microwave for about 23 seconds. I can't even feel the water at that temperature. It's an amazing device and if it ever breaks, I'll definitely have another one the next day!!!

Cedar fever! I lived my first 36 years with no allergies. After one winter in Round Rock, now I get them all the time. The pollen was blowing off the trees so much that my wife thought the greenbelt was on fire! I moved back to Cali 10 years ago, but I still have my allergies. I hate those trees.

The DO sell the nose pillows separately for $6.95 a pair, and the nasal dock for $9.95. I just ordered the machine today, and if it works, I will order a pair (and the nasal dock if necessary) for my daughter so that we can share the unit!

I used to use a Neti pot, but hated having to blow my blow constantly afterward to clear out all the water. This thing intrigued me when I saw it on TV, but man, it sounds very pricey, especially with the proprietary saline pods. Allergies are pretty much haywire for me during all 4 seasons, but flare up badly during the start of each season. Well, thanks for the video and the laughs with the first date anology!

The best part is seeing what comes out and you not showing us was a waste of my time.

Maybe you should be familiar with it before you review it. These are great, as I have 2 deviated septums with very narrow passages and without sinus washing I get BAD sinus infections and headaches. It took 20 years of suffering until I finally got relief. Due to my narrow passages ,the older sinus washes left water up there. Always fun bending over and a water stream comes out of your nose!!

You can buy different nose pillows to use for different ppl. They have different sizes also if by chance someone has a smaller nose.

I prefer the netipot for clearing out the sinus's, I use one daily as I have pretty bad sinus problems and it works fantastic. I bought and tried the motorized version but didn't really like it, it didn't have suction, just pushed the water through the sinus's to clear them out. The normal saline packets are pretty cheap and warm distilled water is a must!

Well at least he didn't puke like I did the first time. My wife and I had a heck of a time getting any water to flow through it at all. We thought our noses were completely blocked or something but it may have been pump not being primed. All I know is we have no problems now and it works great. I should have had my wife film my first time with this so you could have gotten a good laugh.

microwave your water for 30 seconds! I love mine. Also Navage doesn't want you to know that you can use your own saline solution. Did it suck the water out from another nostril?

Does this device have a stronger flow vs. Regular nasal irrigation, when pushing out mucus?

other people can use the same unit. just buy some extra nose docks

I would love to try it but I do not like the idea that you have to have their pods in it for it to work. I could make up my own saline solutioon. Do you know if it will still work with a used pod in it?

Can you order individual parts just in case it broke the nose suction?

i guess it didn't come with a suggestion to use warm water?

How disappointing to not show the tank with results. Also makes no sense saying the tank should not be clear. A major point is to see what comes out.

Used mine for the first time today. It wasn't too bad! I did get choked twice for a few seconds. And I had some sinus pressure after. So I hope with regular use that won't happen. But it wasn't bad at all!

i got a navage, and ive tried everything to keep it from choking me and having the water run out of my mouth and nose, but nothing works. also, after i use it, my nose is runny for hours.. i think it was a waist of money..

I’ve had a severe sinus infection for at least 5 months now. Antibiotics and another product nasal rinse would just about knock the infection out; only for the sinus infection to rebound with a vengeance. This unit started working to clear my sinus infections after the second use. That was circa 2 weeks ago. I’ve purchased four of these devices and have given them to people who have severe allergies and multiple sinus infections. All have thanked me. One person even reimbursed me for my gift. I tell people to acquire a dedicated 16-ounce Pyrex or plastic measuring cup. Fill the cup with distilled water only. I tried using filtered reverse osmosis water. That didn’t work as well as the distilled water. I put a liquid steroid (called Budesonide), a paste antibiotic (called Mupirocin Ointment) and 8-ounces of distilled in the Pyrex cup. I heat the solution for 45 seconds in a 1,100-watt microwave. I stir the solution to get the paste antibiotic to dissolve. Then I pour the mixture into the Naväge. A Salt Pod is put into the Naväge’s chamber and the lid is closed releasing the Salt Pod’s solution. I gently shake the unit to stir the solution up. And then I irrigate. As the saying goes: “Oh what a relief it is”. Of course, your mileage may vary. Just my 2¢

Just bought this thing... nose is always congested because of deviated septum... it works for first 3 hours before im congested again...bummer.

So mines must start every October cuz I have now and I’ve used the navage today and I’m still clogged but I probably wasn’t using it correctly because the water was gushing out my mouth so I tried to use the “K” trick and it kinda helped but I want to master it, I already knew before I went go but it at walgreens that it wasn’t gonna be $50 or less

It would be nice if they could lower the price . I suffer from allergies but I can't afford it .

Is it possible to switch directions to have the flow change? Such as in the left nostril one day then in the right another day if you choose?

I've never used any type of device such as this but I have had bad allergies for at least 30 years now. I'm thinking I will try this device out. Do they recommend doing this once per day in the morning after waking up?

If the saline pods seem too costly to anyone, search RU-vid for hacks. In just two simple steps, you can use any saline packets! My Navage helps me a lot with sinus infections and allergies, and I think it's kind of fun to see what it pulls out in the bottom!

Parris, you COULD make this for use by everyone in the family....just take off all the pieces that can be wet and soak them overnight in a very strong dilution of plain white vinegar and water in the sink. Maybe you'll have to put something over the entire sinkful to make sure they stay submerged but that is what is referred to as a COLD STERILIZATION method. I use a CPAP machine and it is used with plastic hoses and facial pieces that are made up of silicone or plastic and that is the way I was informed as to clean and sterilize them once a week. As long as there isn't any silicone, you could always add some bleach to the water as well, but bleach will break down the silicone so you don't want to add that when cleaning the silicone parts.

A friend used that cursed thing- It sucked out part of his frontal lobes. He lost all of 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade memory-as well as MOST of his College education. AND, his sinus is still clogged

Get a bowl put hot water in it. Put bottle in hot water. No need for microwave unless your in a hurry

What a wimp! The suction is not as bad as you demonstrated. The distilled water should be warmed to body temp, not used cold as you did. This device is a personal unit and who would even consider having it be a multi person unit. The device works very well for sinus irrigation. I sometimes have to use it twice in one treatment til bottom receptacle indicates clear return. I highly recommend this unit as I have frequent sinus congestion and it works miracles. Stop your exaggeration of the procedure. It is not uncomfortable if used correctly and really helps clear out congestion. J
