she is skateboarding on unpaved dirt like a Mars rover.....how does she do that without hitting a rock and face planting it into the ground. awesome skills.
@@gabriellui9161 I don't even think she is using one of those off road mountain ready skateboards. She is not even using safety equipment like helmet, elbow & knee pads- she is hardcore.
Followed her when she had only 300 followers in Instagram. She was always an interesting person and an intelligent soul. You go girl with all your sponsorships and support.
@TRUCHA 562 Her true passion is rug weaving and that is why a lot of us natives follow her. She is from the area where I live. I've known who is thru that platform for a long time. So fuck off! you don't know me.
Wow so racist. Talking about how beautiful her skin is implies other skin tones arent beautiful or as beautiful. Time to cancel 2710Pocahontas. I recommend everyone do a 27 year back review of all of her social media posts.
I grew up near the Navajo nation. This almost made me cry. I'm so happy our. Native brothers and Sisters are finally coming up in the World.... There is slot of natives with amazing talents and never get a chance to show the world That's changing now
So beautiful... the vibe, the pictures, the courage to live her passion and show her culture... breathtakingly beautiful and very inspirational. I hope to see more of her on the international stage!
@Tyrone Jackson idk if that's sarcasm or not, but the truth of that is that is this...being racist is not acceptable, unless it's against a white person, being sexist is unacceptable, unless it's against a male. The truth is many times the oppressed mimic their oppressors for validation, ending up being hypocrites themselves. This is the world we are in today. Hopefully people shift into a better understanding of themselves and others.
@@JohnSmith-cc3ud the truth of it is, the virtue signaling and oppression of whites is being done by whites in the name of minority groups. Leave us out of your squabbles.
@@dehartfamily3091 when you refer to "us" you are speaking from the mindset of division of people based off race or culture, when I say "us" I am thinking of everyone, without division of such things. That is the problem precisely. Realize, it isn't about those things, and when considering oppression, those things are only distractions from a bigger issue.
I grew up in Gallup NM and I lived like 5 mins from a huge Navajo community and most of my friends were Navajo. I also grew up skateboarding, and this just makes me smile dude, it’s rad
That's a good thing, but what I see is an unhealthy diet in her and most of her people. She's becoming overweight due to too much carbohydrates and meat and not enough fruits and vegetables, kind of like Hispanics and many disadvantaged black folks and southerners in the US. We desperately need economic equity in this country.
Hello all the way from South Africa. This is a beautiful video. Thank you for your inspiration. Women have been miss represented in cultural settings throughout the world and this video brings joy to my heart as it showcases that women can be strong and beautiful in their own settings.
She is just so stinkin adorable. Her excitement and love of skateboarding just shines right through her face. It's infectious. I hope everything goes smoothly with this project.

You go Gal, I couldn't stand up on one of those things. I am a 83 year old retired US Army vet and retired police officer and I don't think the wife would allow me to try. Bless your heart dear. I enjoyed your setting the example. Ken .
SHE IS COPYING THE OTHER INDIAN SKATER WHO GOT A FREE TRUCK. SHE IS JUST TRYING TO GET FREE SHIT. FOR GOD SAKES. SHES NOT AN INSPIRATION. JUST SOMEOME TRYING TO GET A FREE TRUCK
@Civilized yes yes. I agree. Your right. My experience with the Navajo people is they are the most racist people I've come across. They cannot stand white people but honestly, can you blame them? Look what we took from them. Your right.. when u look at it that way they should all be given a truck and tons of money
Brave? How so? Speaking life of what? I'm not trying to be rude but I just don't see how the comment other then beautiful and skate park relate to this at all.
She needs to make Navajo Inspired Skate board designs and license them to the major companies. Navajo art is so earthy and beautiful. It would be a perfect match and I would imagine very popular. I hope she able to get a skate park in her community.
You are absolutely right! Navajo art is one of the most beautiful there is. It comes in many forms from jewelry to paintings, pottery, clothing, weaving and more.♥️
That's a GRRREEEAAATTT IDEA!!! FOR REAL!!! Navajo Skateboards and skate wear! Then build more skateparks with the profits, and more Navajo skater kids. It's healthy🎶🧕🎶
@@mr.woowoo8826 I think roses meant it would be cool if Tony hawk went to her and helped her build another skate park that isn't two hours away from her town

As a retired og skater from vegas i cant say how much this makes me feel good. In now disabled and cant skate anymore...and this just makes feel so grateful i was able to for so many years.
What type of disability if don't mind me asking? No need for personal or specifics. I'm disabled as well but don't collect as never applied. I work in pain and have for yrs but it's getting worse and worse as time goes on. Anyways that wasn't my point sorry, my point was even disabled people can skate and enjoy thing's still depending on their disability and or a few other aspects. Just want you to be able to enjoy skating if at all possible for you in any way. I know the day I was told I couldn't do or shouldn't do the things I loved because of the outcome of another injury my life changed forever that day and I'll never forget it. I cried..

As a member of the Pokagon band of Potawatomi Indians located in Indiana and Michigan it's awesome to see what our native people can do with their own land and ingenuity
Sure it's their land? Doesn't it belong to the peoples who lived there before them. You know, the tribes that were completely killed off so she could live there. The white mans way is better. If the white man treated the losing indians the way indians treated losing indians, there would be no indians.
@Stephen Casias Something tells me if we build her a nice smooth skate park with perfect transitions it will be too boring for her. She would need one that mimics natural desert formations to keep her entertained.

She's a bad ass. I know it's hard not feel self conscious about our body image or any of all kinds of other things, but if you can do an Ollie you should do that Ollie - or whatever it is that you love and have fun doing! Just roll when you wipe out and don't hit your head - wrist injuries suck but head trauma is forever. Now go be a bad ass, whoever you are!
@@DennisMoore664 That's a dope message! Thank you! And yes, I have had a weight gain, so just being able to cruise has been fun and liberating for me! I am proud of their courage & encourage them to sidewalk surf safely! We all cried when we seen Sky Brown Fall on her head. I hurt my knee doing something stupid a couple weeks ago. So accomplished an athlete, but so humble!! She makes skating over rocky, earthy cliffs paths look natural!! Can you imagine someone from a paved city, who’s accustomed to paved skateparks and roadways, skating those paths??? The level of balance and skill just blows my mind.

This is awesome. I visit your Navajo Nation when I was about six or seven years old with my dad. This would open up the eyes of so many people just allowed to have kids to have fun in the old backyards. Thank you for the video and you did awesome on that skateboard.
@LCARS DATA NODE i dont think you got what he/she said. If the skatepark is 2 hours away from her community you think what the majority of people will be using the park?
It is I another town, probably a larger one. Which makes it one that people living in a smaller community will go to on a semi-regular basis. And two hours is not terribly long if you live in a very rural area.

@@thanosetsitty1896 I honestly can’t remember. I remember her face but I can’t remember her name. It was on Camp Lejeune all the way back in 2011 or 2012. I remember she was getting discharged at the same time that I was. I was being medically discharged but I think she may have gotten into some kind of trouble but I could be wrong. They stuck us all in the same place as we waited for our DD214s
This is so freaking amazing!! Indigenous people are a gift to humanity. God bless her and them all. May we all return to the earth the way god intended us to.

The Diné are beautiful. Native has always been my fave culture since I was little, next to Irish/Celtic. She's gorgeous. I hope native culture just keeps getting bigger and grows and the children continue to carry on the ways of the elders.
