This is neat. I'm not sure why a laptop wouldn't have built in cooling fans.

Lots of industries are moving towards 2 in 1 devices, many of these 2 in 1 devices, in an effort to be smaller/lighter/keeping up with apple trends put smaller and smaller fans or passive cooling in their devices for numerous reasons, including less points of moisture intrusion. The fans in macbook pros from as far back as 2014 and various laptops the past 10 years are little blower fans barely even a centimeter tall laying on their sides.

Was thinking about a product like this after using a phone cooler with the same concept. Never knew there is already one.

Looks ok at first but that peltier fan blows the heat to the other cooler fans. They must make road to that peltier heat it can blow to the our face or our hands.

No recap here. Just a nice review of the Navazip Thermoelectric Laptop Cooler. That's a very neat device Steve!

I think this shouldn't be used in a laptop with grilled at the back. Since it was having a moisture.

Wow Steve. That is awesome. It even has RGB lighting. Just wondering, that laptop you had Steve, does it have good hardware inside? Getting a higher end laptop with a high-end processor and a high-end graphics card can also help with video editing! That cooling pad is awesome!

@@BigRigTravels Wow, that's great. I edit videos on my laptop too. I just know that having a laptop with a graphics processing unit can help with your video editing experience. I upgraded my laptop just for video editing. Just suggesting

This was more of an unboxing than an actual review, you didn't show us how much of a difference it made

Does it blow cold air?

Laptops internal cooling fans blow heat out from interior heat generating parts like exhaust pipes while exterior laptop coolers blow air onto the laptop from the bottom onto the laptop fans trying to exhaust the heat. Like 2 fans facing each other with the coolers with more fans. This causes the internal laptop fans to work harder generating more heat and next you will have to replace the laptop fans = $$$$. I've had 3 coolers when they first came out and all died within a year. My laptop fan from 2006,2015 still works. Waste of money and bad for environment when they fail and get thrown out. All laptops are designed with the cooling it needs. All these coolers have lights bells and whistles unnecessary to the cooling to attract sales and they are very annoyingly noisy. When that tab to hold the laptop from slipping down breaks the cooler is more useless other than for the landfill adding to pollution. Like bottled water.

guess you didn't listen. my laptop has no fan nor vent holes at all. so the thermoelectric pad keeps my laptop cooler. alot of new laptops have no internal fans or exhaust vents.

wow, sounds like you are the type to not take care of anything. no, it isn't indestructible. but any product can b÷ destroyed if you don't use it properly

@@BigRigTravels Then it was built that way with newer tech parts running cooler not needing cooling fans. It enables the laptop to be smaller. If you have cooling issues there is something wrong with your laptop and should be exchanged. The Allienware 18 back in 2015 had cooling issues the only year they had 18" laptops and why they no longer have 18" laptops. I got lucky and still to this day have no cooling issues with my 18" or any of my Dell computers (1 2000 Latitude, 1 2007 XPS, 1 2014 Alienware 18", 1 2018 AW desktop A51 R5. and 1 2018 12" chrome book) . That monster cooling fan you push is 5x the size of the laptop. What is the sense in buying a thin laptop? Just buy a bigger one with an internal cooling fan which is more efficient. It would still be smaller than fumbling/bumbling about transporting both cooler and laptop vs 1 unit.

@@BigRigTravels The cooling fans I tried were top of the line and stayed at home on my office desk. I didn't need it after all but bought them to 'beat the heat' but wasted money and eventually waste. The fans get weak and then die to become a giant paper weight.
@Deathawaityou

Sorry but your science doesnt work, blowing cold air into the laptop cools the internal components so the internal fans dont have to work half as hard

Thanks for the video! I was curious about laptop stands of this design because of the peltier cooling pad (Thermoconductive thing). Seems very good usecase for sealed bottom computers. I Found a spot in a video that might help you to figure out where the singular cooling fan inside that laptop is located. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2ao7q0ypCTE.html Seems like its just got a little area to push some air out uptop between the monitor and the body in the wedge where it folds. Thanks for the super informational video! Hopefully you grab a laptop with a dedicated graphics chip and some better cooling! That stand looks like it could really help something beefy with more slots crunch everything quicker!
