This is exactly the project i was looking for! Thanks a lot! The llano and iets do not sell here in my country, and importing them would make their cost get over 200 dollars... And the ones without foam make really no difference in my temps I will try to 3d print something like it!
I was actually just thinking if anyone tried this, as I'm thinking of foam sealing a Cooler Master NotePal CMC3 as it's $10 in my region and has no vent holes for leakage. I have a 14" so this 15.6" class cooler is perfect size for me, my laptop thermal throttles on normal coolers, and no foam sealed laptop coolers in my region below $100.
you should also cover the other holes on the stand that not used by fans. It would increase pressure. And maybe open extra holes to fans? or cut a circle shape for fans? I think you can upgrade setup and make another video :D
Very nice videos!! It really looks like you know your way around coolers! I am having a bit of difficulty finding a cooler that is big enough for my 18" laptop....... Any suggestions for bigger laptops?
Your design beats the IETS Gt600 and Llano v12 when you use a Delta fan 120 mm 6000 rpm with proper dust filter. For overkill Nidec G1438X54 BMZP a 140 mm fan with a max rpm 15000. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7ECZ1Gwmukg.htmlsi=XKw5t95BRht4-mYI
