Turning into the oncoming lane is a bit concerning but no doubt it will get worked out soon. Very cool to see the C3 doing full stop-and-go turn-by-turn navigations
i think the issue is the camera positioning, I had the factory mount and it pointed downward but it was complaining about calibration, i put the 8 degree mount and now it can't see the road we are going through properly. the system does well with the cameras it has, honestly, they should make a more permanent install and add 360 cameras to the system and make it an addon, if they keep it the way it, its just a lane centering system.
@@highlanderc yea I give it 5 years and it will actually be full self driving. The problem right now is the training of the models is using a bad simulator. If the model is made to be "smarter" or larger, the model will figure out it's being trained in a simulation and it will "overfit" the simulation data.
Really cool! Couple questions: 1. Does OpenPilot disable any safety functionality (lane keep assist, collision warning) while it's running, or does it only override the behavior of MRCC and TJA? 2. My car is a 2021 CX-30 TPP - it looks like I would only need the TI2 and not the radar interceptor harness, correct? 3. Is a comma connect subscription necessary to enable Navigate on OpenPilot, or do you just need to run a branch that has this feature? Overall, I'm very impressed :)
Thank you very much! 1. It does not disable the safety features. You can switch between Openpilot and MRCC for speed control. 2. Correct you only need the TI2 3. You can use frogpilot to gain navigation or use the comma prime subscription (setting the destination is easier with comma prime)

Those were both very sketchy. It turned in front of that car; as a human, I would have waited for the oncoming traffic to pass. As for the second 10:35 it didn't even make a complete stop at the STOP sign.
