Pilot answers spectator questions at the fence of KISP, after flying in a Navy F-35 Fighter Jet. #f35 #memorialday #aviationgeek #aviationlovers #navy #marinescorps #fleetweek
The F-35 is much more than a fighter, a node in the network, multi-sensor (DAS, radar and other) platform, EW capabilities, day/night/in-weather flight capabilities, auxiliary drone controller, and a fully integrated cockpit with a panoramic cockpit HDD, and the advanced HMD. This aviator is a highly trained and motivated officer and a credit to his military branch. 🇺🇸
A part 2 with actual flight is being posted today. The crew, airport staff a police were really accommodating. Spectators were respectful as well. The little kids, and older kids really enjoyed the chat.
That was so freaking awesome, hats off to that pilot and a humongous thank him for his service!!! This is what it's all about, being personable and humble to us fans who are in awe of these jets. I wish I could buy this pilot a couple of beers!
He’s one of the groomsmen of my sons military wedding 3 weeks ago. We’re very thankful of him and his whole entourage of fighter pilots attended the ceremony. 👍
Question # 1 is he worried about losing his job to A.I. ?. Question #2, On performance reviews how it can’t handles… the plane can’t turn the g’s structurally , handling is no where near a f18 super hornet. This plane can’t handle a real dog fight….just saying from an engineering prospective…numbers are numbers. This is due to politics. Can’t have an old 70’s plane outmaneuvering a $2 trillion program..?
One of the amazing tech capabilities of this aircraft is that 70% of the time it doesn't even lift off the ground according to most recent dod reports! ROFL
