First of all, these are vintage, not antiques. Never trust a dealer especially people who don't know what a Nazi was. Go and watch the WW2 museum videos, and collectors that have original uniforms.
So much fraud out there it’s sick !, the Russian military medals and orders same thing lots of fakes and misrepresentation or product especially on EBay!
@@silencedogood5766 As you know, with experience you can spot original or fake, under a magnifying glass. Buy from proper auction houses, not EBay. Original NSDAP uniforms, badges, and insignia will have sharp and well-defined lines. However, we know from WW2 that escaping allied POWs fooled their captors and civilians with fake clothing. And they only had basic/improvised tools and materials 😉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p9cXlHQuHNQ.html
hi, can you tell me something important to me? the shoulder pad for the officers, as they were attached to the uniform, there are those who say they screw button, others claim that they only cooked them and every time they washed the tunica they took them off and sewed them again ...
I have a question. I have one of those German artillery caps’ is it normal for it to be a leather chin strap instead? I got one and i want to make sure it’s real.
I am very curious about the caps and hats, and their purposes and meanings. I hope those clothes will find a great home! Anyone know if the 14.57 said hat was standartenführer hat or did I hear wrong? Anyway awesome video thanks!
Yes, Nazis had the most stylish uniforms. Back in the day people took pride in their appearance and appreciated good quality, so military uniforms were no exception.
I think German law allows you to display the swastika in the context of historic artefacts, such as authentic WWII uniforms, so Dmitri would be okay to show it here. However, maybe Dmitri himself was uneasy about showing the swastikas, or the venue manager had told Dmitri and the other vendors to cover them.
In my late high school years, I bought some ex-German Military WW2 uniforms from a Military Surplus Store that got hold of a shipment from Germany in the days when they could still sell them, and I even wore them occasionally like a regular suit. I liked the cut, style, look, & feel of those threads, and I didn't give a toss what anyone else thought. Now & then some mouthy rectal orifice had something to say but they weren't prepared to back it up with anything but words and backed the hell off when I called them on it, so screw 'em. It's a fashion statement not necessarily a political one. What a pathetic world we live in, where we are so fearful of openly appreciating classically beautiful & superior design aesthetics, in this case in relation to the magnificent WW2 German Military Uniforms which are widely accepted among the finest of all time, lest we risk the wrath of self righteous tantrums from the "Politically Correct" fascists who seek to impose their views upon everyone, limiting our personal freedoms of choice, expression & speech to only that which THEY approve, and democracy be damned. Someone should remind the losers that individual rights are one of the 7 principles of democracy.....and that means EVERYONE's rights, not just theirs.
Exactly, it's also as the saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover. I'm the same I wear what I like, they were the best uniforms ever imo, but not many people want to openly admit it because they're worried about being seen as something they're not by the PC.
@@TheBestFruit I can't just wear something like that, because you decree it so? Poppycock. Who are you? By what justification do you presume to dictate the parameters of other's freedoms? You're not my Boss, Brother, or Keeper. I don't recall asking your permission. Elon Musk.....sure. And I'm Warren Buffett. At least I'm not appropriating someone else's name, likeness, & identity, impersonating Elon Musk. If you're Elon Musk, aren't you too busy insulting Nikola Tesla building lame, soulless, four-wheeled electric appliances under his name, to be trolling RU-vid acting as self proclaimed, self anointed arbiter of Politically Correct clothing? The real Elon Musk could probably appreciate the aesthetic of these uniforms as much as anyone else, and likely has a number of magnificent Hugo Boss suits hanging in his wardrobe. He can afford them. Hugo Boss designed & manufactured the WW2 German Military uniforms, including the black uniforms of the elite SS. They're still in business, and doing VERY well. I suppose you want to accuse them of Nazi sympathies & affiliations and shut them down, too? Chastise the millions who love the brand and wear their designs? As far as offending second world war veterans who fought the Germans....many thousands of them who found it difficult returning to mundane civilian life after the war, bought cheap Military Surplus WLA Harley Davidson Motorcycles, stripped them down into Choppers & Bobbers, and set about in groups riding, drinking, fighting, womanising, partying, and generally raising hell, commonly WEARING the same GERMAN MILITARY Helmets, Trench Coats, and Tunic Jackets they looted from enemy combatants during the conflict and brought back as War Trophies! Who were they offending? THEMSELVES??!? Many of these groups of ex-Military anti-social misfits later evolved into gangs and Outlaw Biker Clubs like the Boozefighters and Hells Angels. German Military Helmets or reproductions of them are still one of THE most popular choices of Motorcycle Helmet today. Why don't you walk into a Biker Bar to lecture & chastise THEM about their Politically Incorrect fashion choices, too? Go ahead. I'm sure they'd love to hear your opinions.🙄 And I didn't say, "that people shouldn't be so judgemental about me wearing the uniform," as you assert. I said I don't CARE what they think, and they should respect the rights & freedoms of others, regardless of whether they approve. There's a difference. I'm offended every day by LOTS of things....As a musician, I'm offended by Boy Bands. They're a bunch of pretty boy, Corporate Shills posing as musicians to further a modelling career, and I find it an affront to genuine, serious musicians. That still doesn't mean they don't have the right to exist just because I'M offended and don't approve. What makes something offensive is subjective. It's dependent upon a person's age, race, gender, nationality, ethnicity, education, employment, income, status, upbringing, opinions, tastes, political & social affiliations, religious beliefs, and a gazillion other demographics & factors. What offends one person is meaningless to another. And you want to have & live in a Democracy, but dictate, legislate, or start a debate on what should or shouldn't be acceptable & tolerated in society based on Political Correctness and who is offended by what??!!? If you ask or look, there's hardly anything in existence that doesn't offend someone, somewhere. And they won't be alone. What do you suggest? We ban EVERYTHING to make sure NOBODY is ever offended? Good luck with that. What the hell is this modern preoccupation with being offended, anyway? What is the big deal about being offended? I'm offended by crap everyday. When something or someone offends me, I ignore it. I walk away, change the channel, do something else, go somewhere else....It's ASTONISHINGLY easy to change your circumstances so that you no longer have to put up with something that offends or annoys you. Today, every time someone is offended by anything, they have to sook & whine about it, like a bunch of little girls who lost their Dolly. They have to have a public, emotional, tear drenched appeal about being offended, bleating on about how TRAUMATISED they are. They have to demand their rights to not be offended. They have to turn it into a Cultural Crusade or Social "Movement". And instead of being told to grow up and sent on their way with a kick up the butt, everyone engages in a grand spectacle of sympathy & support, in an insult to everyone who has REALLY known suffering, not just pretending to. People in Yemen & Palestine have been LEGITIMATELY traumatised. People who have personally experienced & survived rape, molestation, assault, torture, murder, attempted murder, famine, homelessness, extreme poverty, acts of violence, deprivation of liberty, recent death of family & friends, harrowing circumstances, life threatening injuries,.....THEY have been traumatised. There's more of a fuss kicked up about who's offended by what, than ACTUAL criminal acts like Murder. Americans are more concerned about protecting the "offended", than finally facing the issue of Gun Control perpetuating the mass shootings in their schools killing their kids, and the epidemic of general gun violence that threatens them all. Priorities? People are submitting to "Sensitivity Training" because they offended someone??!!?!!! What needs to happen is for everyone to HARDEN THE FU#K UP and stop carrying on like pussies. If you're offended, you have to be an Adult and deal with it. Suck it up. Because here's a fact of life....You CAN'T HAVE a Democracy where no one is offended. The right to offend is one of the rights under freedom of speech and expression. It is a right protecting & guaranteeing the freedom to express one person's opinion on a particular matter. People need to either learn to deal with being offended like grown ups and get over it, or sacrifice the Democratic Freedom Of Speech & Expression, to appease all the crying infants who aren't mature enough to understand what a Democracy is....although they DEMAND the right to have one, and they'd be the first to cry about losing THAT, too. As far as being against the law, there were plenty of occasions I was wearing said garments in town, and I found myself smoking a cigar and having a warm, friendly chat with some on-duty Police Officers we bumped into. They ALL noticed what I was wearing. Some actually commented how sharp those threads looked. The others couldn't care less. NONE brought up any legal issues, demanded or suggested I remove it, or tried to arrest me. Maybe it's against the law where YOU live. Which is fitting, that someone with fascist attitudes towards the freedoms of others should live in a fascist state. By the way, the Swastika was an international symbol of peace and good fortune LONG before the German National Socialists chose it as a symbol for their Government. You can travel all over India, Nepal, Kashmir, and many places all over the world, and you'll see the symbol regularly displayed EVERYWHERE on old buildings. While you're at it, after your wounds heal from the Biker Bar visit, why don't you travel the world and sub-continent throwing a hissy fit about the millions of Swastikas you see embedded in their architecture everywhere. I'm sure they'd appreciate you imposing your uptight views on them, also.🙄 Because you're boring the hell out of me.
I have eitzengruppen D Dr . Earhard Kruger officer tunic with iron cross ribbon Reich eagle patch his panzer waffen shoulder insignia Heimlich himmlers letters presenting his SS ring, pictures in the tunic with hitler. Original himmlers letters. It's in good shape. I have hitlers stamps from the time period still original shape all demoninations stamps.
German law forbids the display of swastikas and flags and uniforms charged with them. People are still arrested and fined for wearing Nazi insignia and downloading Nazi music. Nearly all militaria and themed sites have to be dealt with in the spirit of education and for historical research sake. Reenactment which certainly has a grip over here is a facet of right wing extremism in Germany and as a fruitful aside Jean Marie Le Pen the now demoted leader of Frances National Front made a lot of money dealing in selling recordings of Nazi music before he decided to be a politician. The Horst Wessel Lied skips in and out of Internet sites although it is an offence in Germany to play and sing it. I would be interested to know where people like Vivian Stanshell obtained recordings of Adolf Hitler at a time when they too were banned although many Germans kept records from.before the war and never played them. Triumph of the Will was kept under lock and key and only shown on British TV in the late Seventies when Riefenstahl was asked to film the Munich Olympics. The enthusiasm in the announcers voice when the Nuremberg rally film.was about to be seen must have disturbed many Germans but this was all part of the Hitler wave which characterised this period and which has continued into whole channels on extra terrestrial TV. The ghost of Nazism will never be exorcised.
Ah, at last i found dis Video.......... i need to confirm the stiches on breast eagle for reference note that the Breast eagle stiches didn't pierce the tunic's lining (tunic's inner layer ) its because most insignia applied in the factory are done before the lining sewn So the stiches did not visible and hidden behind them IF there were stiches visibly pierce the lining, then prob the breast eagle had been altered. Maybe it was changed by the newer types, or worst, changed recently by a repro patches .
I have Dr. Earhard Kruger tunic it includes letters from Heimlich Himmler , pictures of Dr. With Goebbells and Hitler. I could send you pictures . It is in good condition he was eitzengruppen D.
So many millions, maybe tens of millions of reproduction tunics have been made starting as early as the late 40's early 50's it's almost impossible to tell the real thing from the fake stuff any more. Yeah the Chinese stuff/Sturm sticks out but there are a few makers out there that are so good it's ridiculous. Love this row of tunics you are showing. They look real to me.
Hermosos los uniformes alemanes y quisiera saber dónde comprarlos y cuál es el correo. Tube el honor de usar el uniforme original de la SS y sacarme unas fotos.
I can't help but noticing how the swastikas have been skilfully covered on some of the tunics. Isnt this also done with medals still worn by veterans of the war now.? I wonder why solely the swastika is deemed offensive like all singing and playing of the Horst Wessel Lied. Is the SS rune similarly banned?
What makes me laugh so much about this guy is he hasn’t even bothered to age most of these Repro’s!!! I bet if you gave him your own measurements he could kit you out personally!!!🤣🤣🤣🇬🇧
@@Solesz Yes I've even got a confirmation by the seller that it is in fact original, to have a proof if authorities have something against it. the knife itself has good condition but the blade is dirty, the dirt remains look as if there was some duct tape on it and whatever I used to clean, it didn't work. A friend of mine who is also a collector said that you don't clean this stuff anyway so i don't mind that it looks like that. Edit: Forgot to mention that the emblem inside of the knife handle is intact although a little loose. Anyway since it is only for display purposes I couldn't care less.
Very nice array, I like all of them but favorites are the black panzer uniforms of all ranks, Afrika Korps all ranks, Kriegsmarine all ranks, actually all are good! I also like Field Marshall August von Mackensen's hussar uniform, complete with sword.
Are authentic??? It must be in a big wonderful incredible iconic museum to honor the German army, navy and air force and all the soldiers in general Who died for his country and believes.
