Hey I know this is a long shot since this is a few months old, but I noticed on your "ISR Exhaust Teaser" vid (which is even older haha) that you said you had some rubbing on the axle and said you doubled up the hangers to fix it, i'm having the same issue so would you happen to have a pic of what you mean or would you mind explaining further? Thanks!
I just took a pic but I’m not sure the best way to share it. What I did was leave the rubber hanger that’s on the body but turned sideways. I then stole the unused rubber from the rear, as isr didn’t have as many hanger points post axle. I put that spare rubber on the exhaust right in front of the axle and turned it sideways. So I had rubber on the body sideway and pointed forward, and rubber on the exhaust sideways and pointed forward, and I ran zip ties through the unused holes to bind them together. Doing this pushed the exhaust down enough at that spot to where I no longer contact the axle. If that doesn’t make sense let me know and I can make a quick vid to post to show it
@@miata-focus3455 Yeah i'm finding it hard to visualize what you mean. A video would be really appreciated, or you can upload the pic to Imgur as you don't need an account or anything to do so. Thanks!
No, stock exhaust up to the ISR. I don't know if they make different models, but this was the circuit spec if that helps. The only muffler is right at the end at the tip.
@@JarnoScw There’s a slight drone if you have the top down. I don’t think it’s all that loud compared to most other cars aftermarket exhausts. My genesis coupe ISR was LOUD. This one is good, if you like this sound, It was just a little too raspy in the high rpms for me so i replaced it with the yanoka which also sounds amazing but is a little quieter
@@miata-focus3455 Sounds good but I swear.. every video I see of the ISR are different.. some sound good and some sound way too raspy.. yours sounded good but idk why every single one sounds different
@@hudboys8120 couldnt tell you. At that point car was stock with an failed/unplugged rear o2 sensor and the exhaust. Fixing o2 cleaned up the exhaust a bit. Preferred the sound before, guessing it was fueling more and would have more “rumbles” on down rev.
