I like the concept, just have a weird feeling we're going to be getting pulled into even more animations as if we didn't like getting pulled into posters
Might wait it out for a bit after first days to see other people’s first impressions but these realistic gameplay animation improvements intrigue me…it’s been a few years since I’ve bought a 2K game
@@konteezy203 nah can’t agree. A certain amount of contest need to close that green window completely or it’d be no point in trying vs someone who know their shot
I liked the physicality a lot of the older games had (not including anything from 21 to 23). I'm not seeing much of that here but hopefully it's in the game. That's part of what made the old games fun on top of the fact that it felt like there was a real sense of game flow & tempo which you could change manually. That's how it SHOULD be.
It probably is. 2K has a history of outright false advertising in their trailers with fake gameplay and animations but they cleverly do it in a more subtle way
When 2kday releases release more gameplay footage, another trailer. I want a Momentus trailer as well, I need to see more gameplay. Also we haven't had a momentus trailer since 2k20. Those used to be 🔥
bro if they add a control where you can do that players signature celebration i would be crying of happiness cuz it would be the first change since 2k20 😂😭😭😭
For everyone concerned with animations pro play is to make sure everything is realistic crossover wise so that everyone’s dribble moves and dunks etc are realistic i dont see animations being a problem not this year
@@calvinleonard5471 | I mean, it LOOKS great to me lol. ProPlay makes a difference, I care about those small details in movement. I ain’t say “this gonna be the best 2K ever,” it’s just an simple observation of what I seen.
make a better player bro, i made two builds that both had gold anchor and I was swatting and contesting like 90% of dunk attempts. Pure slashers and meter dunking definitely needs to be hit tho @@kappamal
Those talking about getting pulled into animations when defending, I’m sure the badges an attributes will make sure you’re able to combat the offensive ability of the other player
I think this is the closest-to-release debut gameplay trailer they have ever released (just 3 weeks before full release). *If this is true, it shows you how confident they are (not) in this year's entry...*
It will be like hypermotion in fifa games you may like it if you are playing offline modes game but if you are playing online game modes you won't like it.
What if y'all bring back the sim type of game along with these new animation engines. Or expand the gamesliders for the community to adjust it. And on top of that, modify the jersey physics, they all look like they tucked their jerseys beneath their balls and clipped it on their legs. Jerseys should atleast come off the tuck when driving through traffic or in a hard foul. Aside from those, what if y'all inprove the defensive animation as well most especially team defense on drop cover and in switches.
As long as the smooth animations can be interrupted instantly and on the fly by player inputs, I'm all for Proplay. If not then this will be a terribly slowed down gameplay making everyone trapped in animations.
I played FIFA23 a lot where they implemented “hypermotion” which is all real life capture of players and it’s amazing. This technology is revolutionary and I’m glad it’s getting better and better over time and being used across all sports games.
it looks exactly the same as 2k23 i think they should've explored more real life pro play comparison but this is the best trailer for gameplay i've seen from them in a while.7.7/10
