yoo guys same i used to play in elementary but i wasnt rlly that good and always benched so i stopped but i came back to basketball in highschool last year and played everyday and i joined a summer clinic now im a pg im not the best or shiftiest but i hope to be soon keep training and playing guys 👊 🏀

good video! the only thing is i still dont undertand is how and why each team play 81 games but with only 30 teams? I have no clue how that works, wish that was in the video!. Otherwise very nice info:)

Thanks a lot! That's a good question! Here is a quote from the Wikipedia explaining where the 82 games come from: "During the regular season, each team plays 82 games, 41 each home and away. A team faces opponents in its own division four times a year (16 games). Each team plays six of the teams from the other two divisions in its conference four times (24 games), and the remaining four teams three times (12 games). Finally, each team plays all the teams in the other conference twice apiece (30 games)." I hope this helps! Also, If you enjoyed this video, you might want to check out my new videos too. Tbh this may be a surprise to a lot of people but I never really watched the NBA or any sports channel ever! I do wanna start watching the NBA and be into playing games like NBA 2k and maybe Madden I just don't know where to start. Long story short I was never really an active kid growing up in middle school to my junior year of high school. I was gonna join the track team this year but because of Covid I can join track unfortunately. I basically wanna make up for the times I didn't participate in sports or never watch them so I wanna be able to make up for them now.

You play against all of them multiple times. Some teams you play 3 times, some teams you play 4

@@nikosadam8768 No, the number of matches are fixed Four games against the other four teams in their division (16 games in total) Four games against six out-of-division conference teams (24 games in total) Three games against the other four teams in the conference (12 games) Two games against all teams in the opposing conference. (30 games) Basically example: Lakers have to go 4 times against Warriors and Clippers (same division), 2 times against Heat and Knicks (eastern conference) etc But if you want to know, these 82 games weren't always like this. The 82 game rule came decades ago, and there were less tem teams in the nba. So the NBA, seeing that the 82 game schedule earns them the most revenue without making the player's super tired, has adapted the schedule overtime But its fixed, not random
