First vid I watched of this channel and I’m subbed. I’ve been playin street ball for years with my brothers but not more then that. I recently joined a team and I’m tryna step up and improve my game heavy and learn everything so this vid helped a lot thank you. There can be some toxic people just like everything, just don't listen to those people and keep grinding and getting better, and don't worry about getting embarrassed, everyone is bad at the beginning

go to some public places and just talk to the ppl that look nice. if you are scared or too shy play by yourself or go with some friends and most of the time someone comes up to you and asks you to play. honestly you make a lot of friends while hooping

6:19 Just for clarification NBA and NCAA rules are different so in the NBA teams get a limit of 7 timeouts, not 6

Could you explain how a rebound works? All of my friends seem to have their own definition of a rebound and whether or not to put the ball back up

A rebound is when a shot misses and you grab it whether on the offensive team(the team with the ball) or defense( the team that has nobody with the ball).

Usually playing pick-up games on half court, you have to take the ball back behind the line before shooting if you get a rebound from an opponent's shot

A rebound is when the offensive team grab the ball (the people who had the ball already) or the defensive team grab the ball (the person who don’t got a ball) and in pickup if someone shoot the ball or lay up the ball and it hits the rim in pickup only not in a real organized sports you got to take it behind the 3pt line hope this helps and I know I’m late

I like the way that blocking and charge showed nearly identical footage. I'm a 5 and can't for the life of me work out the difference except that if a small player bounces of me I get the block 99/100 times.

That’s a good height for your age but you want to continue to work effectively on footwork, ball handling, and becoming better at getting to the rim and finishing! This will help with your aggression getting to the basket which will then open up other opportunities to develop your skills when creating for other or creating opportunities for shots or other counters to the rim!! Keep goin! The goal is to get better each day!

Yea....but, we're not seeing teams with real 1-5 positions. The game has evolved into this position less deep 3's clown show. Everybody 1-5 chucking up 3's. It used to be a more interesting game, with post play, midrange. And actual Defense.

you don’t have to be tall to play basketball; Nate robinson, Mugsy bogues, Spudd webb and Isaiah thomas weren’t tall but still were somewhat decent in the NBA. It just helps if you are taller than most people.

Depends on position Guards can be on the shorter side and still good like AI Forwards And Centre Do Need To Have A Decent amount of height or really good bounce
