You are just wrong. Clearly you've never actually watched NBA basketball "back then." The 60's, 80's and 70's were the 3 highest scoring decades in league history. Ever hear of the Magic Johnson led Lakers? They were not slow. The league back then was rough and a little dirty, yes, but that's because the last 20 years of NBA players are way softer and the league as a whole became way softer due to incidents such as the Malice at the Palace. I can name at least 20 superstars outside of the Bulls. @@chrisuncleahmad

I am 38 and I can still jump and play but these kids make me hate playing basketball ,I don't know how you do it they don't think at all, basketball IQ -20 and playing with them is watching them taking turns who is gonna pick more dumber shots than the other one and at 38 I play more defence then all of them which is sad considering that I was averige defender in my 20s

So he tried to bring his best every night for that one fan that might only be able to afford to go to one game in their city an they bought tickets to the one time Chicago would visit their city that whole year. An they might have bought those tickets months in advance. He tried to play every game of every year. He played in all 82 nine of the fifteen he played in, 80 in one season 81 in another an 78 in another. The only times he played below 78 was his second year when he broke his foot, the 94/95 season when he came back from baseball an one year with the Wizards when he was injured. MJ never load managed, never! He was also too competitive to do that. After his broken foot healed the team load managed him an he hated it, absolutely hated it. Couldn't wait to get back on the court. I don't know where you heard that load of nonsense that he load managed more than someone else, but it is pure nonsense. You clearly didn't watch MJ an you also clearly don't know what kind of player he was. Yep, that could wind up being pressure put on that kid as well. Way too early to tell. They did the same thing with Luka comparing him to Bird (because they're both white) an I was thinking "slow down, let's see if he can even get a team to the finals before comparing him to an all time great". Today's NBA ratings are at an all time low . People actually ran offensive set in the old school . They actually knew how to play basketball and every team did not play the same style . The Lakers ran the floor but the Celtics were basically half court . The bulls played a different game and they had rim protectors . Today if you beat your man it's a layup because the big man is 20bfeet from the rim .

@@saburrashid5566 makes it more challenging to defend since they bring the best rim protectors to go 20 ft out, since bigs now can really shoot it, it was just post up plays or transition back then, i saw utah consistently running plays and side actions, bulls got the triangle
