Hello hoop fans, I decided to upload some gameplay footage from NBA Live 2000 on PC, because most of uploaded videos here on RU-vid are from PS1 version and doesn`t really show how great this game looked back in 1999. I loved this game back in the day, I thinks it`s the best NBA live game from EA, and even after more than 13 years I still find it unbelievably enjoyable to play. I hope this video brings back some nice memories for those who played it, and for those who didn`t and want some retro action, I really recommend it to give it a try If you have a chance, it works great on Windows XP and also on Win 7 (x86) (as far as I know).

My fav NBA Lives are NBA Live 19, NBA Live 2000, NBA Live 2002, NBA Live 06 (XBOX/GCN/PS2), NBA Live 2005, NBA Live 08, NBA Live 10 and NBA Live 09

Such nostalgia. This was the first basketball game that really immersed me in its Franchise mode, and the fact that you could insert legends on every team and have a fantasy draft with them kept me busy for so long. I completely skipped Live '01 and '02 because this game was so good.

Bruh I was 10 years old going on nba-live.com and downloading roster updates every week. I stayed playing this until 2002 and my rosters were always fresh lol.

This was the last best NBA live game in my opinion. You can even create players that look like the real players on here, the ones that they don't have. The dunk animations are pretty realistic and the game play is probably the most realistic ever from the Live collection. Love love, love this game. One of my favorite basketball games ever and I'm still playing it in 2015

What all do I need to emulate the n64 version like you? 🤔 I actually never played the N64 version however the Pc version is kept on deck 👌I feel like the graphics were amazing on that Pc version. Definitely much better than the PlayStation during that time period. I will have to look into that n64 emulator.

I never forget the day I got this game....right before the NBA season started in 99 smh I used to sit and play all my games in franchise mode ...and this was the OG Hoops game for patches. NBA Live Series Center lol I had a lot of time on my hands at 12-13 lol

First NBA live that I bought, my PC ran it well and it is still one of my fondest memories playing this game. The Live series never reached the same heights again. 2003 was pretty good but it was all 2K after that.

I can't believe the graphics in 2000 for the PC was this good this looks like PS3 graphics I'm impressed since I've got a great PC imma go back and get all of these things on eBay and play them! I had 2000 live for my PS1 and them Graphics hurt my eyes!

Vivid memories of trying to play this on my parents 1996 cow computer (Gateway 2000), with the Windows 98 OS… needless to say, it never worked properly. The lag was unreal, and playing the game was next to impossible. Still, I tried daily for quite awhile. Somehow, it was still fun for my young self. And wow… the memories of hearing “Hip Hop Hooray…. Ho… Hey… Ho….” with Julius Erving in the background… what nostalgia 🥲

Sacramento Kings are my favorite NBA since I was a little kid I got to meet Chris Webber back in 2001 he invited us to come see him play vs Houston Rockets! it was a night to remember lol we were his special guest hahaha C-Webb in my Top 5 of All Time. #SacramentoProud

It does if you install it on a Windows XP VMWare Virtual Machine then copy it to your computer then rename the dx7z.dll file in the NBA Live 2001 demo to dx6z.dll and replace the dx6z file in the game's 3rash folder with the one you renamed and install a patch.

Love the game but I am surprised at how bad your gameplay is. No fake shots or any runs to the basket??? Passing is fine but you have to make a move at some point...
