I always wondered why Kobe. Bryant was never an nba live cover athlete especially by. 10 8 2002 nba live 2003 release the Lakers had won their third straight nba title. And Jason Kidd was put on nba live 2003 cover even though his nets were swepted In 2002.nba finals .ea figured the nets would. Make it again to nba finals in which they did only to lose to the spurs

@@VideoGaming4U may be Kobe turned it down. I guess he felt ea didn't deserve his high calibur especially after he was in nba courtside with him being cover athlete exclusively for n64

@@danielsantana540I can see that from a contractual side with Nintendo .. but would be crazy outta competitive nature with AI being on the 2k cover. He got his own game while AI had to represent another brand.but that’s smart and more people who reached that level of popularity should’ve tried their hand. Hell look how many griffey brand based games nintendo pushed out.
