always luved the 4 spot in the late 90s-early 00s....soooo many guys...u had Duncan, KG, C-Webb, Sheed, Dice, K-Mart, Vin Baker, Dirk, Mase, J-O, Malone, Toine, Brand, Shareef Abdur-Rahim etc, even a guy like Robert Horry
You don’t see PF’s in today’s NBA show off their point guard genes like Chris Webber does he was one of those power forwards who could put the ball on the floor and drive to the basket to get his points or post up
2 of my all-time favorite teams. We've all heard how Lebron faced tougher opposition than MJ, but in my unpopular opinion, better basketball was played in MJ's Era and early 2000s. I feel teams were more balanced and complete thus making them underrated competition. You don't necessarily need the "superstars" to be a great team. The 2004 Detroit Pistons are a good example of this. Good coaching and team chemistry goes a long way!
@@MDBBall U EDITED TO MUCH SOME NEW GEN SHALLOW PPL WILL THINK ONLY 2 PLAYERS ARE GOOD. WE NEVER SEEN GREATNESS OF DIVAC PEJA MIGHTY MOUSE PIP IN VIDEO AT ALL. YES THEY WERE PF MATCHUP BUT THESE ARE HISTORIC TEAMS WITH INCREDIBLE PLAYERS.
A dog I’m from Detroit and I was sleeping on c-Webb I knew he was a dog but all these clips I’m watching he was better than all them power forwards or I like him better against literally all of them he may not of had a better career but when healthy I don’t think he can be fucked with just go thru his catalog
Yea the 2000’s were stacked, especially the early 2000’s. You can’t forget Jermaine Oneal, Pau Gasol, Elton Brand, Antoine Walker, Shareef, Abdur-Rahim, even Antonio McDyess (before the injuries) and K-Mart. Stat, Z-Bo, Boozer where there around in the early 2000’s but became All-Stars later in the mid-late 2000’s. Good variety of PF’s and all brought something different to the table, now it feels like a dying position
Shawn Marion, played small or power forward either way..10 rebounds a game..great defender on perimeter too, but he never made All defensive Q., too many great forwards at that time
YEP HIM SHEED KG DUNCAN ARE SAME SUPERSTARS. JUST BECAUSE DUNCAN HAD LUCK TO PLAY WITH ADMIRAL AND KG AND SHEED IN SMALL MARKET PLUS TIM DONAGHY RIGGED RINGS FOR SHAQ AND DUNCAN.
BECAUSE THEY PAY HUGE MONEY TO MJ, AND WEBBER AND SHEED WERE SUPERSTARS TOO. BARKLEY SAID BEST : '' I WILL BE IN GAME WHEN U PAY SAME MONEY LIKE MJ AND GIVE CASH TO ALL RETRO PLAYERS THAT U OWE THEM''
You a Scottie Pippen Stan. Your hero is nothing to blame for himself for shooting 3/10 fgs and being the catalyst of the Blazers fourth qtr meltdown while Kobe was the catalyst of the Lakers comeback hitting clutch shots throughout the the qtr over Pippen’s overrated defense
Sheedy was superior on both ends of the floor. It's a little sad he was never asked to be the main scorer in Portland and Detroit. I bet his stat was way different. Thanx man! Hopefully you will do some younger Manu rarities some day :)
2 very good PF Webber and Rasheed Wallace, a C 37 years old without knees and achilles teendon 39' 18p.9r.6a. 9/13 fg..the top all times center in his prime, before injuries slow down him too early cause URSS too rigid..what a great pity he wasnt in NBA in his prime, he played in Zalgiris Kaunas, Lituania
@@dannyboy6424 he had the first great injury in his knee at 22 years old, the second injury, achilles tendon broken, in 1988 at 23, the portland doctors tells him 8 months of rehab but after only 4 months he played at Seul '88 Olimpic games..his prime was 1983-1987..from 1988 he was highly slow without jumping..so when he came to play in Spain wasnt his prime..but for me a great center the same with the best fundamentals ever seen for a big man
It's crazy that CWebb, Sheed, Ben Wallace, and Juwan Howard were all on the same Washington Bullets squad...only to get swept in the first round by the Bulls...and people say the '90s was trash, lol
Portland has been remarkably unlucky with its teams in the golden era of NBA. Enough talented to realistically promise you a championship, yet always failed to deliver. A bitter journey from 1990-92 annual self-destructors in the Finals' crunch time, to Jail-Blazers decade later.
