I know they train refs a little different now. The 80s and 90s they were taught de-escalation techniques, explaining calls, showing interest in players concerns, defusing rivalry, and the big one was calling players by their first names. It makes almost for a teacher student type relationship, when you see this 6 foot 7 inch guy kid really whining to an older 5 foot 9 inch ref.

Apparently Latrell got injured a little by Carlisle's trip. I think he injured his ankle a bit, which came back to bite us in the series against the Pacers.
