Those panel removals looks easier than what it actually is,panels and clips need to be removed and replaced in a certain sequence, took me hours to do correctly with no missings screws / clips,I would suggest numbering every clip and screw with masking tape and also numbering its corresponding hole / possition. This will save you lots of hours.
awesome video, now I learned how to do two things 1 take off the panels and two install the electrical accessory. I was actually just looking for panel removal. thanks tons mate!
Mr. Sykes, it's a bit hard to see because of the graininess but otherwise, this is one fantastic tutorial on how to remove the dreaded plastic. I'm installing Rox risers and have to move the brake line behind the triple clamp. It's either remove bodywork or partially remove the right fork. Decisions... If you haven't already done so, it would be great to see you do an air cleaner service. Not looking forward tot hat either 🙁 EDIT: I looked through your videos and I see you did the air filter on an NC700S. Is it much different on the X?
I installed the handlebar warmers and had to remove all those panels also!! The screws are all different so you really need to pay attention to where they go. Poor design for adding accessories!!
Is the relay indicator on the same side as the panel you show on the video? Or on the other side? I don't see clearly on the drawings I found on the web. Thx!
If you have a blown bulb in a turn signal, just look for the little X-head screw facing backwards that releases the orange plexi glass cover to allow you to pull out the dud bulb and fit a new one. No need to pull lots of panels off. The "S" model headlamp though is much more accessible - just a bolt each side allows you to tip the whole nacelle forwards and then lift the unit off its rubber bungs to permit access to everything in there. Less convenient with the "X" version.
I just want to check engine number and it seems to be hehind the panels.. This is why I don't like modern motorcycles. So much easier with almost naked engine (no need to remove anything) and side covers attached with three knobs into rubber gromets which just pop off.. sigh
