No one...I mean no one in the HBCU world can touch this band on the field. I just love my alma mater. I only have teachers salary but I need to make a donation. I would love to see this program grow to 280. They are phenomenal
@@pfunkbrothat's stretching it a bit far. However, so far this year the sound is better than last. No other dance line is as diverse and this good in any conference.
I would love to see Western Carolina and it’s 525 member band put on a combined halftime show, pre game and 5th quarter! What a sound and sight that would be! If we could just get the ADs and football coaches to agree to a home and home game!
NCAT field shows put me in the mind of the HBCU field shows of the 80s and 90s. Showmanship , precision , and crowd participation . Now a days most HBCU field shows are filled with Rap Tunes, corny announcers, and poorly arranged dance breaks . Continue to set the bar Aggies! Esp in a day and age where SWAC bands seem to be the only ones getting any recognition or attention . Shoutouts to all my Meac , Siac, and Ciaa bands putting in hard work !
Got chills once meeting in my bed room came on. Listen to the runs and precision. You can't hear no fading or out if breath from them. Pitches are perfect. Trumpets are superb. THIS MY FUTURE SCHOOL RIGHT HERE!!!
The arrangers are just phenomenal!!! Everything about this show was great! A real collegiate showing. That meeting in my bedroom was the icing on the cake 🎂. You can tell the culture is excellence. Aggie Pride!!
Through out my years of being a part of the BGMM and now following there every performance, it ignites my spirit to continue to see how much the the vision of the leadership, mentorship, life coaching and Muscianship that is displayed on and off the field. It takes more than just practice to stay on top of your A game and make stellar performance and performance. It takes years of commitment to a program that has existed ever since I was a part even back in the 80's. I congratulate Dr. Ruff and his staff for their visionary leadership and the students for believing in him and his staff. Keep the vision moving forward and Eat the Worlds Face Off!!!
Now this is what I would classify as a spectacular marching band with extraordinary musicians and leaders!! Great performance band!! You are indeed a breath of fresh air. I'm going to devote a lot of time and energy watching more of your performances...WOW!!!🏆🎼🎤🎵🎶🎻🎹🎺💖💖
I love BGMM!!!! They never disappoint. I can't say anything bad about the band or GD! The entire band is always on point. NCAT gets better each year! My favorite!
Wow! These guys are good! Even-though I am a student at Grambling State University, and I love the World Famed Tiger Marching Band... But A&T "ALWAYS" put on very nice field shows. Nice work!!!

This right here is a competition show!! A&T stay ready. Nobody is touching them field wise . If every botb was judged a lot of folks would stay salty .
Now, I'm new to this marching band on the HBCU college level since Cammie from the dancing dolls became a Dancing Doll at SU.... Of all the videos I have watched from colleges matching band field shows.... BY FAR!!!!!! Aggies are No. 1 in my book! #Excellent and versatile as ever... I think I love yall 😆

They finished last year ranked the number one marching band among historically black colleges and universities, according to HBCUSports.com, and they`re picking up where they left off.
As a Ex HBCU Drum Major from the 70's/80's, I must say....SHOWMANSHIP/PRECISION, this band is ON POINT! Great sound and "Flow" of a routine. Yep..I'd put them up against any of those great SWAC bands and the MEAC too!
From an Aggie alum (1987; 1989), the show was very good (excellent sound, marching maneuvers & dance team inserts). If A&T's band had about 300 members as opposed to 200, the sound projection and visual imagery would be awesome. If so, no HBCU band could touch them; most bands can't touch them now, even with A&T's smaller comparative size to schools like B-CU, FAMU and Jackson State.
John H, could you explain your response a little more indepthly. Are you saying that you agree with me, but the size increase won't happen? Are you saying that you don't concur with thinking the A&T band show was very good? Please elaborate. Thanks.
I assume that you are not an A&T alum, but you probably would have made a good one (if given the right opportunity, tutelage & guidance). However, it is not too late: A&T has an impressive array of academic programs from from BS to PhD; you could go back and get an additional degree from A&T. Ha ha ha! But since you were checking out the A&T marching band via RU-vid, the Aggie Nation will gladly accept you as one of our own. AGGIE PRIDE!!!
@Aggie Girl I'm not one to underestimate any program, but when you lose almost every sectional battle to your CIAA rival, and the band selections are too close to call... Im not sure what they have planned for A&T, lol but hey I love the confidence... less talkin, just play lol
@Aggie Girl just like NSU's Homecoming, I personally would have thought they would be happy to be coming to GHOE, considering that no one really goes to their homecoming, but hey how much gratitude can you really expect out of NSU!!
