Kensi hollered, “You cheated on me.....with my brother!” And it was right in front of a group of lovely Los Angeles lovelies. Deeks could only stand there with a pole axes look on his face, while those lovelies attained a wrong impression of him. Thanks a lot, Kensi.
@mariawinterblue8223 Not true at all. in fact, Deeks had more dramatic storylines in later seasons, and they used him to show his more serious side. watch seasons 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14. Altho I agree they could have used him in a more serious storyline even more as Eric is a fantastic actor in both comedy and serious drama, and he proved it. So overall, it's not true that he was just comedic relief.
@@xxncisaddictxx even before they were partners, she acted cold and rigid towards Deeks Everybody acted like he didn't belong there for the first 2 1/2 seasons
I liked the Deeks of these seasons better. He was funny, mysterious and witty, but he also knew how to put the team in their place with his sarcasm. He even seemed like he was going to have a story, because Callen was trying to pump Hetty for why she brought him in. Don't get me wrong, I love the relationship he has with Kensi, but over time he has lost that mystery, his presence on the team is limited to being the butt of jokes and his story arc is based solely on his relationship with Kensi. I feel like the writers have killed off what could have been a great character.
