Edit: First thing I ever put together... and it's got 60,000 views? And 100 likes? Wow. Pretty fun.
The lighter Deeks moments from season 2 ep. 17.
Lacking any real editing software, sorry for no transitions, etc. There is a dearth of the funny NCIS LA moments online - people keep making great videos about Deeks/Kensi drama instead. This one should make you laugh! (hopefully - at least smile and go awwww)

Loved the episode! Deeks is awesome! One thing that I don't understand, though, is why his mother wasn't listed as his next of kin? At first I thought that maybe she died but that's obviously not true as she appeared in later episodes? So why didn't he put her down as next of kin?

My theory is that he's always tried to protect her and doesn't think she would do well in a hospitol having to make those decisions if something were to happen. Also she may be far away which isn't great in an emergency. When spoilers alert, Kensy was in the coma and his mom was there she kept saying stuff about the nurses and doctors that were offensive so would have annoyed them even more if it was deeks in trouble. May also be that he wasn't in touch with her at the time given how much undercover work he did, didn't want to risk her safety so kept her away when he wasn't sure how often he'd be in contact.

Okayyy, so Kensi is not into cartoons (the Dogleg episode) but has a thing for classic comics... hmm... well... it is possible. But not very likely. Furthermore, yello. The stuff in itself? Big YUK! Ewww! But slurping it? Brrr, beyond gross! 🤢🤢🤮🤮

She says “my father’s comic book collection” she lost her father at a young age and is very attached to his memory and everything she has of his she holds close. Rather she enjoyed them or not it makes sense that after his death she would had read them to feel close to him.
