Glad you’re correctly pointing out the Kung Fu influence on this song and that you’ve had the chance to binge watch a lot of Bruce Lee movies since many popular Kung Fu artists and movies were hugely popular especially in the 80s-00’s (with Brandon Lee, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and many more)...and certainly still to this day. Regarding the group: yes all the sub-units are under the one big umbrella of the NCT brand so although each one may have its own characteristic, it’s not so much one would be better than the other because as you react to more songs, you will recognize their same distinctive trademark, which is: that they are well known to be experimental and very versatile with mixing multiple genres into one song, switching regular beats to odd beats, putting weird but addictive special effect sounds, and having each song totally different in sound, theme/concept, vibe, genre, etc. one from the next. NCT as a whole is the largest DIVERSE male mega group with several different languages so they have NO LANGUAGE BARRIERS because they can all understand each other no matter what language they’re speaking .... I know everyone has their own view/opinion about the MV and almost everyone has that reaction; the only regret I have is not knowing them since debut but the four years i’ve been a NCTzen watching so their music videos, vlives, Neo Zone track videos with the teasers alone kill me. I also noticed the yellow & black theme in the MV which many have said it reminds them of Kill Bill but the colors have other meanings but it can also represent tribute to Bruce Lee; he used to wear yellow with black strips jumpsuit in his movies & they’re paying homage to him plus if it was about Kill Bill then there would be references within the song. I knew at some point they would reveal they are ninjas; giving off Karate Kid & Regular vibes the more I watch the it. I believe it’s somewhat of a tribute to Bruce Lee since they literally call out his name within the lyrics. I put this on ur other videos to but it is just info incase you don't know some of it and yes members can be in more than one sub unit for example Mark is in NCT 127, NCT Dream and NCT U(7th sense, Boss, 90s love) however some members are only in one unit. I put guides at the bottom they help you get to know members and stuff:) NCT are a bigger group(23 members but don't get discouraged by it bc they are split into sub units so u can learn one unit at a time it makes it so easy that's how I did it). First I just want to give some background on them:) NCT stand for Neo-culture technology which basically means they as a group want to keep expanding their members and make more sub units as time goes on so they can have units that promote in different places of the world. This is a very unique and new concept that was never done successfully or in this way in the past. NCT is with SM entertainment which is one of the big three entertainment companies in South Korea(JYP, SM, YG). For some reason when it is mentioned they ae from the big three people think they succeeded automatically which is definitely not the case. Since NCT's concept was so different a lot of people hated on them and said they would be the failure of SM. They debuted in 2016 and didn't meet the mark for a big 3 company at all for(idk exactly) around 2.5 to 3 years. This year was the first year where they gained a huge fanbase and started to succeed more which they truly deserve bc they worked so hard for it if you want to understand more the video that I watched that informed me of all of this was "NCT: SM biggest failure? nah." by Taeyong scalp. NCT stands for Neo Culture Technology and there are about 22 members right now... I think. The sub -units are NCT Dream, NCT 127, NCT U, NCT 2020, and Way V. Way V is a fixed membership group and is the group that performs in Mandarin and performs/promotes mainly in China. They perform elsewhere, but that was the primary reason they were formed. NCT 127 the only other group with a fixed membership - although Win Win does not always perform with them due to Way V scheduling conflicts. 127 is the area code for Seoul. All of the other groups have flexible memberships that is determined by the concept for that particular comeback. SM Entertainment had a sort of plug and play idea when it came for the idea of this group. Instead of one group that is always one thing, they can essentially choose from their stable of artists to suit any particular need.

I believe NCT 127 could be considered the "main" unit since it has 10 members (9 active) and the leader of all NCT, Taeyong (white haired center position), is in it. It's a fixed unit, as are WayV and NCT Dream. NCT U pulls from all the units depending on the song/theme they want, so the groups get to interact with each other a lot. It's a huge family.
