The guy who came in all smooth in this song is Xiaojun. In 90s Love, I think you are thinking of Haechan. Both are really great singers. Xiaojun is Chinese and a member of the WayV subunit. Haechan is Korean and part of the NCT Dream subunit (though he might be in NCT 127 now that he's older). You guys should watch the Regular MV! Also, NCT's earliest stuff is really, very cool and ahead of its time - Firetruck, Cherry Bomb. I think many Kpop producers agree that NCT's music is on the bleeding edge of what's new. SM Entertainment only works with the best producers, songwriters, lyricists, cameramen, designers, etc. And, of course, that company recruits and develops incredibly talented Kpop idols.

nct basically as a whole has 23 members. theyre seperated into 4 subunits as of now. nct u is a rotational unit where any members can be part of it depending if the song or concept suits them. 90s love that u listened has different members than this make a wish unit. their best songs include the 7th sense, boss, yestoday, coming home and more nct 127 is a fixed unit with members: taeil, taeyong, johnny, yuta, doyoung, jaehyun, winwin, jungwoo mark, haechan. some of their best songs include kick it, punch, superhuman, cherry bomb, regular and simon says. nct dream is the unit with the youngest 7 nct members. they are mark, haechan, renjun, jeno, jaemin and jisung. yes, there are two members from nct 127 as well. when they debuted back in 2016, the members' age were between 14-16. since theyre targetted at teenagers, their early songs had youthful, bright themes. as they matured, their songs became different too. you can check out ridin, boom, we go up, dejavu, and go. at first, they have a graduation concept, meaning when the members turn 20, legal age in korea, they graduate from dream and leave the unit. But, they cancelled this concept in 2020 wayv is a chinese unit with 7 chinese members. they are kun, ten, lucas, winwin, xiaojun, hendery and yangyang. yes, winwin from nct 127 is part of wayv. he was taken out of nct 127 back in 2019 for his new debut in wayv. its still unclear whether he'll be added back to nct 127. they were first unassociated with nct, because of the political tensions between china and korea. With nct 2020, it was their first time to be promoted together and announce theyre part of nct. After their debut in 2019, their best songs include take off, moonwalk, love talk, turn back time, and bad alive. they have additional subunits like nct 2018 and nct 2020. theyre basically a collaboration with all the current members united. they release an album, promoting together as one big group. nct 2018 was the first collaborative project of every members teaming up for one album, empathy. their title track was black on black, a dance performance song, and songs featuring from all other units. nct 2018 consisted of all 18 members back in 2018. nct 2020 had been a successful project with an additional two members into the line up: shotaro and sungchan. They participated in 90s love and make a wish. Reasonance is the tilte track of the album, where they mashed up the songs in the album with a performance. Theres news of a new nct unit debuting in 2021. nct is a one of a kind, unique kpop group with an ambitious, never been done before concept. nct stands for neo culture technology. their concept is having limitless members and global expansion beyond korea. their music are also very intriguing and they constantly try new styles and concepts. i know this sounds confusing and complex, because dont worry, all nct fans were confused getting to know nct. As much as it can be hard for you to get into, it's also a smart strategy move, because they can introduce new units or members to an already built up fanbase and group identity. nct brand association has been successful so far like i said. but, once you get to know, you can discover amazing new things. NCT is a super diverse group that covers a wide range of genres. Not only can they do rap and hip hop, but they can do r&b, ballads, and more! They have the visuals, vocals, choreo, and rapping all in one group. The K-Pop wave really took off in the 90's with this entertainment, SM Entertainment, paving the way. They have produced so many talented groups such as EXO, TVXQ, Red Velvet, SHINee, aespa, Super Junior, Girls Generation, BoA, and more. Many of their songs are written by producers not just in Korea, but all around the world, many coming from America and Europe. These producers like writting songs for K-Pop groups because it allows them to be more creative and go beyond mainstream American Pop as K-Pop is way more open minded and exploratory. A signature thing with K-Pop is their elaborate MVs. They spend a lot of money to create top notch MVs. Everything in NCT's MVs are customized from the set to their clothes with their names on it. They also always have difficult choreography with their songs. You will rarely see a performance without a dance with the exception of ballads. Another staple of K-Pop, especially SM Entertainment songs, is the bridge. SM likes to slow things down and give powerful vocals in their bridges to switch things up and keep the listener on their toes. It definitely makes the song more interesting! Bias = favorite member of a group Maknea = the youngest member (age is very important in Korean culture) Visual(s) = I know in the video ya'll probably mean the video and set but it is usually used to refer to how good looking a member is Aegyo = cute charm Comeback = when a group or artist releases new music Killing part = the part of the song that fans have deemed the best Music shows = live shows that multiple groups perform in each week or so Sub-unit = a unit with only a few members that are a part of a bigger group (Ex: NCT 127 is a sub-unit of NCT) Trainee = kpop idols train for long periods of time before they debut, they are called trainee during that period V Live = an Asian social platform for celebrities to interact with fans (its mainly used by kpop idols but actors and entertainers from all over Asia use it) If ya'll have any other questions I would be happy to answer them. Since a lot of people are requesting Misfit by NCT U, i thought i would just let you know that they have a track video (not a music video) for this song. It is one of their bsides on their Resonance album. The track video includes only half of the song and does not have english ccs. If you want to hear the whole song, i suggest watching a color coded lyric video in addition to the track video!!

so NCT has 23 members ( yes 23 ) ! now within NCT those 23 members are in 3 units NCT127 / NCTDREAM & WayV , BUT we also have NCT U ( the U is for United ) and it is a rotational unit , so any of the 23 members can appear in NCT U in any combination ! it sounds complicated but really its great once you get your head around it ! - so 23 members in 3 fixed units ( 127 , Dream and WayV ) and a rotational unit NCT U ! the 23 rarely perform together but they did this year in Resonance ( so to us fans it was incredibly special ) , hope to see you react to the units too ! love you guys and really enjoyed your NCT U reactions .

just wanted to say thanks for doing these reactions for nct . they are such a global group member and language wise. also just in general i want to say kpop especially in the US (i'm also american and black) gets written off alot as something only teenage girls listen to but the genre as a whole has people from all walks of life young, old, all races and sexualities all around the world. NCT motto is "to the world" and they really have in the past few years brought that motto alive. Good music is good music regardless of where it comes from so it is always nice to see more people throwing aside stereotypical biases against something and actually giving it a chance
