NCW XXL - Inside Pleat Hack

Okay girlfriend, I am now officially an NCW addict, making my first next week will post on your FB group awa NCW addicts. This pleat idea is saving my sanity - that flopping open biz was seriously getting on my last nerve. As always, thx sooo much for your tutorials and hacks.

I love this hack. Even on the regular size NCW, there is too much extra fabric/bulk in the centre sticking into the wallet and I was even thinking of squaring off each Curved end just by trimming off a bit of that curve in my pattern.

I think I am going to try putting darts into the side flaps before assembly. This was a good hack for already assembled NCW, thank you!

I love the clutch, but when you open it can fold and all contents can go on the floor. Now with all your video when I open it retains the contents. Next one I make I just going to sort the panel so I don’t need to do the pleats. Thank you🤗

That has made a big difference I have made one so far but have to find out how it is going given to daughter in law also just like to say thank you for such wonderful videos they are great I live in New Zealand just love RU-vid seeing all the people sewing and making great things I have been sewing for a long time and just ordered a new sewing machine from the USA it is a Sailrite portable walking foot machine so looking forward to getting that I have a Juki Exceed but the one you have is a very popular machine and I know you will get a lot of enjoyment out of it thanks again Phyllis

Great idea. Have you tried using an awl to line up the new flaps with the old holes - the awl hole will mark where you'll need to punch. Keep up the great videos!

Is this xxl just the pattern inlarged to acertain percentage or do you have to buy another pattern?
