Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio’s portfolio politics has dropped major hints about possible war between his party NDPP and the BJP. Outright denial by Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Y Patton to accept Land Resources Ministry has raised a million dollar question whether all is well between the two parties or the honeymoon is coming to an end? There is an old saying that in politics there are no permanent enemies, and no permanent friends, only permanent interests. In the last couple of days the political arena of Nagaland is witnessing many interesting developments, which are establishing the above mentioned lines true and correct. The recent turn of events have started to raise some questions among those who follow the state politics that whether all is well between the NDPP and BJP?

When we see the present scenario of our state, Nagaland survived through a funding from the Centre alone of which our state doesn't generate any revenue and even to the point that that the state isn't in a position to pay the salaries of the state govt employees... Right? From this point of view, we can foresee that the state politics without BJP will remain handicap, it's happening already by now.. So, to see the changes in the political scenario of our state, we have to sent our representatives from the central party during the forthcoming election so that the state issue would be partially solved and may go on with whatsoever party in the near future. This is the time is to fix the state issue ..... no comparison with religion, culture etc... Just my suggestions: and i think my assumptions will stand firm cuz I can foresee a state like Nagaland without central party wouldn't be able to survive...

Yeah I think the same too, but one thing I want to know is , does Nagaland possesses the ability to generate revenue by it's own ?? If yes , what are the areas ( except for tourism industry what are the other industries that Nagaland can excel in ) , if no why can't Nagaland be such and such keeping aside the geographical factors as humans have so far conquered it with new technologies and science !

@@jackofhearts1414 Nagaland could have generated revenues from all sphere like the rest of the world but the Government doesn't governance under a vested interest leader, yet the Non Governmental Organisation (societies) are given full authority. So, in simple term, the goverment performance isn't worth and it's been under one leadership for decades...

Long time ago, in the 70-80s, it was time when almost every region(state) was ruled by jungleraj laws. All state govts used the police and high court as their personnel tools and did whatever they wanted. There was a man Mumbai who figured out what the problem was. He had a huge following(army). He used it to offer security to anyone and any business that operated in his city. Slowly, businessmen and middle class families from around India recognized the security cover he provided and began shifting to Mumbai and the city went on to become the commercial capital. That mans name was bal thackrey. If you provide security to the residents of your city, it will operate like a city. Bal Thackerays policies of the 90s are now being implemented by UP/telangana/Gujarat/Karnataka etc. These states have now started to compete with Maharashtra. Hindutva was nothing but a policy to provide security to the locals.
