This man is the reason why there is endless youtube ends, pause the video, play ADS, watch it again, pause, Play again Ads. RU-vid is not a tech company anymore, it's nothing tech, all marketing now!

Worse CEO ever. I have multiple channels and this guy had made things much worse. They put limited ads on everything now, even silly family content. How can we get this guy fired?

Watched the first 30 minutes of the video and learned two things: 1. Be yourself. Don't copy others. Walk in your own shoes, not someone else's. Think long term. 2. You can hire anyone to do any job in the world, except for hiring the right person. That job is yours alone.

Thanks to this man, I can't listen to music on youtube without having a fucking ad every minute. Everybody used to talk shit about Susan but this guy is 10x worse and no one's talking about it

Depends on the availability of high speed, affordable, accessible on demand internet, YT would make most of the cable network similar to print media these days. As the YT removed the entry barriers to the talented people, provided a level playing field to challenge the status Que. Also because of its reach, the creators can make their content for global audience with border perspective. However these created with fixed, linear story line - its flat, with less interactive or immersive to the audience. IMO, sooner or later, when immersive tech available to masses this "flat" n linear - fixed story telling become "rigid" way of one way communication. Let us say, what If, if you could visit - virtually - any national park, any day (depends on season), any time, how will you experience - if you have the control over duration of your stay, area where you want to explore, etc. It will be fun when AI would assist in creating VR data sets to make these kind of virtual space where the end user can experience, control, (not just linear play/pause/rewind/ etc). Let us see how tech evolves...

RU-vid is no longer living up to its name. I've tried to use youtube this month because you have forced me to do so without adblockers, am disgusted at how you expect me to let strangers into my devices and life because they paid you, also disgusted at how you put energy into censoring victims of human trafficking, keeping them silenced and isolated form more abuse, you are working for human trafficking purposes and will not get away with forcing people to let strangers into their devices and life just because they paid you to do so while you also work to oppress trafficking victims.

Damn RU-vid CEO, RU-vid blocked my channel last year even though my content didn't contain anything vulgar or humiliating people, violence and so on, but other channels that did that still existed and weren't blocked or not because of the large number of subscribers I don't know, this is definitely not fair and RU-vid's rules are already very hypocritical

Much enjoyed this 53 minute interview with Mr. Neal Mohan CEO of You Tube. I believe he is a CEO that believes in corporate social responsibilty. I can tell the way he answers the questions that he really cares about his company creators, viewers and staff. There isn't a day goes by that I don't visit the You Tube website. I really enjoy You tube and appreciate it is run in a ethical manner for the 2 billion viewers Also the interviewer Miss Shannon Beckham did an excellent job with asking great questions!.
