Hello sir. I just finished listening to what happened to you when you were a child up to your age now. I believe every word you said and you have touched my 💖 and soul. My wonderful husband and are stii fostering mentally challenged people for 35yrs now. Now i.m dealing with my 3rd cancer and many sicknesses through out my life. I love God so much at times I feel special that I suffer and suffered through out my life. Why I feel that not sure. I like your mom is scared to die but I also trust our Lord. I was born in 59 with dyslexia and had similar experiences in public schools as well. Dyslexia was unknown back then, and no one discovered I was nearsighted too until well into my teens,, so could never see what was on the chalk board.

This is absolutely 100% the sweetest story....I have so much similarity with this man and his life...

I also held my mom's hand as she died, until her last breath. Unfortunately i was crying too much to feel divine presences, my mother was very young and she left us shortly after the death of our father, and she left us with a little brother. I have lost the sacredness of the moment because of too much pain, it's a big regret.

This isn't "NDE-like", it is an NDE. Proximity to physical death is not the only trigger for NDEs. Major emotional trauma can bring them on. Presumably, in this man's case, in one's sleep as well.

I believe that this is the most beautiful nde that I have ever heard. It is so beautiful that I am not at all afraid of dying now like I used to be. I thoroughly enjoyed the descriptions of the flowers and the clouds and the music and the aspen tree. The aspen tree being connected with all other Aspen trees amazed me specifically because when I have read or seen other ndes presented on RU-vid I have heard many people say that there was a connection of everything in heaven like we have never known here. So when you said that all the roots were connected that made me believe in heaven even more. I guess there were only two things that puzzled me. When you began your nde story you said you were 8 years old, afraid to go to school again and that is when you lay down in bed and had this near death experience but the next day when you were awake and sitting at the table with your mother telling her all about it you were not going to get ready for school as your brothers and sisters were that morning. So why if you were 8 years old when you had this nde were you not 8 years old the next day when you told your mother about it? That part of the story confused me. Also, because I was wondering why, if he was 8 years old. Why was he not getting ready for school with the other kids? I loved the part of the near-death experience where Jesus took you to see the city and that the marble walls moved. That was quite spectacular. Everything in heaven seems to be praising God at all times even things that are not alive like we think of alive I thank you so much for sharing this experience that you had and I am very much sorry that you were bullied so much in school. That was wrong. But sometimes we don't understand why things happen the way they do and in your particular case as the scripture goes, all things work together for good for those that love the Lord. And even though you had to suffer what you suffered in school that's suffering turned into good because you love the Lord and had from the time you were very young. I sometimes lie down in bed at night, I am 75 years old without any family to really keep me company ever and I will lay there close my eyes, and try to bring up the tunnel. I don't really know how to explain it but I want to see that tunnel I guess because I want to see God and I want to see heaven I am ready to see heaven. So when I do this when I am lying down in bed with my eyes closed tight I will begin to see a swirl of colors and they go round and round very swiftly and they are beautiful but they never really turn into a tunnel but I keep thinking that they are going to. It's a beautiful sight. Every now and then I can't make it happen but when it does I am just elated and amazed. I know that someday I will see that tunnell and I hope that I will see those beautiful purple swirls color that I see now at times. Once again thank you for sharing that NDA with us because it was just absolutely beautiful. There was so much in it that I have saved it so that I can listen to it over and over again as I want to see those flowers that grass the clouds the music, Jesus, and everything else that you describe one day. That is how my husband's grandmother went also....she was pretty much unresponsive laying in bed and my husband's father and uncle were sitting with her and they said all of a sudden she opened her eyes full of wonder staring at the ceiling and then she passed....

Wonderful... What a miraculous reality we are part of.

I lost my Mom October 7th of this year. Im 64 she was 84. It happened fast .She lived at her home that was my Grandmas her Mom an Dads house. We helped take care of her almost everyday. An her Nurses an therapist in an out.Her memory was better than mine.We went to go pay her bills that morning an she had a mild stroke an it dint get better worce an she could only try say few words an barely understood her. She couldnt eat an they were afraid to give her ice. She would hold my had an i cried an Prayed i didnt want her to go.I believe in God an new she would go be with Jesus but its been hard for me.She did say who is that standing behind me i said dont no but it must be my Angel Mama she asked my husband too cause he helped me with her all the time. I sang to her an with tears as she took her last breath which was peaceful.I just feel so lost like my heart is broken. Pray for me to get better grief is terrible loseing her. I believe what you said.😇✝️

Russel, I watched your video days ago, and I am still thinking about it. It is truly one of my favorite, and I watch a lot of them. One thing that I could not stop thinking about was how you explained that you had a medical condition and it affected your social skills growing up. As I watched your video, and then read the comments you responded to people with, I could not help but feel that you have taken a weakness and turned it into a strength, even to GREATLY exceed that of the "normal" population who were not born with that weakness. You are very enjoyable to listen to, and your video was well thought out, and organized, and your responses to comments, friendly or critical, are kind and charismatic, and very on point and appropriate. I believe you are one very special child of God who has touched many hearts, especially right now during this pandemic. Sometimes the cruelty of people makes me want to leave this place. I'm feeling very sad and down about all the lies and deceit around covid. I mean, who creates a biological weapon in a laboratory and unleashes it on the world? What kind of monsters are so called humans? Politics crushing people. Jesus really did come to die for our sins because we are rotten. All of us need saving. I'm struggling to live in such a destructive world. I have prayed for Jesus to expose all the liars, for God's justice to prevail and protect all the innocent. I have also had this type of experience. Of course, I have to be very careful who I share it with because I didn't die. It was the most wonderful experience ever. Too long to tell here, but the main thing was, the amazing love that cannot be described in earthly terms. I am not ready to die, but when my time comes, I will be very ready knowing what awaits me on the other side.

This is absolutely one of the best near death experience stories I have ever heard. As a longtime Lutheran minister, now retired, I have been very doubtful of the Mormon faith. But after hearing this, I am very much at peace with these people, my brothers and sisters. I don’t think I will join that community of faith, but I look forward to seeing Russell and many others in the hereafter. Thank you so much for this sharing.

Very beautiful story, thank you for sharing. I believe each encounter we have (as humans in physical bodies) with spirit on the “other side “ is personal to what we believe here on the physical side. God “personalizes” our spirit encounters in the way that is best for us to accept with our human minds.

I feel this guy's decency and pain both. I grew up on the spectrum and had a similar experience of loving home, torturous outside environment. I feel like I'm finally finding pieces that help bridge the gaps between something like unconditional love on one side vs. the kinds of Darwinian game theory we live under as expressed by people like Scott Alexander in Meditations on Moloch or John Gray's Straw Dogs. It's clearly one battle to figure out how we free ourselves as a species from deterministic predation, at the same time it's another thing to figure out how to keep ourselves from spiraling into despair with every consecutive black pill life forces us to swallow. I do feel as though people like Donald Hoffman, Bernardo Kastrup, and I'd add Andres Gomez Emilsson, are actually coming up with frames through which to view this that stack - that's at least the academic side (which is very much needed). The other side then is the personal, ie. what one's relationship with Source is like when they've been through enough pain that they have to fight a regular battle not to have it turn them into a reflection of their environment. That's where I feel like these kinds of stories are critical for people to remember that if they aren't model psychopaths that they don't simply deserve to be stomped out of existence by their 'betters'.

I very much enjoyed listening to his account up until he described his experience in a way that it turned into an LDS testimony fireside. I have been hurt very very badly by his religion and his account reminds me how much it still hurts. In any case, Russel, thank you and God bless you for everything you do and your ministry.

I say this with the utmost sincerity. And this isn't to disparage anyone's story. But I purchased a book almost 10 years ago from our churches bookstore that's very similar to his story. I can't help but see so many almost word-for-word expressions from that book, that I had to shut it off... If you appreciate the story and you get something out of it good for you! ...but there is a book very similar and members of this church often use examples of these experiences to give validation and credibility to their super spirituality....

Why anyone wants to be here in this existence is beyond me.

Wow. I had to watch it twice to be sure. I have a similar story. I am epeleptic and have died a few times through my life. My experience hasnt been while I was dead but I had been woken up. My story a bit humerous I think. I also know we have aeeting before we are born I just knew it as a child beyond reasonable dought. I struggle still but before i was born i did say bring it. Cause the ask what u would like to learn. Love? Anger? Loss? Tradegy? What would u like to see and do. I also knew what my strenghts and weakeness were so I got to choose what i would lile to improve on. So weird. Its not nearly the whole story. Id live to share it one day to give others hope. Well done on being an example of courage. Which I am sure was high on my list of the things I wanted to learn not just get through my life is courage. You ask to get it or learn it. Its complex and i dont think about it 2 much as that would spoil the mystery and ruin the lessons. Anyway thank u. Be well, Mr Ricky till we meet again..

Great story. But with the channel like this it should not be monetized because the ads interrupt some very important things that people are trying to say. Just saying. Glad your story was so wonderful. Not sure why God allows such horrible diseases to happen to people and let them suffer horribly. I am more of a spiritual person then a religious person. I am upset with God that he allows such horrible suffering on this earth he created. I never asked to be created as a spirit or a soul and I don't believe I asked to be born into this horrible world that God created. God allows such horrible suffering all over this horrible world. If I never existed I would never suffer or know anything. But thank you for your story.

Most NDEs don't involve religion at all.

What if we don't obey his commandments though.. I don't know anyone that does.. everyone breaks them daily.. and jesus said as long as you live by my commandments you'll be fine. Literally no one does though. So what happens to us? Does this loving being send us to hell? It doesn't make sense
