Nearly 1 million kilometres on this 2007 Toyota Yaris! That’s right, 980,000 km on this lovely vehicle!
That’s right, a Toyota Yaris! I feel honoured to be able to show you guys how long a toyota can last. We purchased this vehicle from the customer when we realized we would love to have this vehicle as a show piece at our dealership to show customer just how long Toyota’s can last!
If you have a toyota with plenty of miles or kilometres on it, tell us about it in the comments below!
Thanks for watching!

I have 2009 toyota limo [yaris sedan] and i bought it from taxi company and it's used taxi car. I bought it when the odometer reach about 475,000 kilometer in 2019. Now my car running about 895,000 kilometer on going. No engine and electrical problem at all. For maintenance just oil changing and suspension check. Very thoughtful sedan.

I bought a 2007 Toyota Yaris new and it runs and runs with not many (I won't say none) issues. It now has 300,000 miles and I'm still driving it. I perform the oil changes myself. Here is how reliable my car is. At 193,000 miles I drove it from Omaha, Nebraska to Fairbanks, Alaska. During the trip on the way up in Oregon, I was having an issue with my manual transmission with it not staying in 4th? gear when going up a steep grade. I didn't panic and I just KEPT going and made a work around thinking most of my time would be in 5th gear. When I got back from Alaska, I did have the manual transmission replaced ($1500) with a used one and replaced the clutch. I have had to replace the alternator twice. First time I did it with a rebuilt one that lasted a few years. The second one I replaced with a Yaris original off a junked car that still keeps going. I've replaced the front end bumper cover and all the plastic underbody parts. At 293,000 I took it on another road trip to Florida and it performed flawlessly. There was some slight engine knocking when going up steep grades that concerned me but it got me there and back. As long as you regularly change the oil, belts and hoses, this car will perform amazingly. I look forward to turning the odometer to 400,000 miles years to come.

I bought a used 2008 Yaris about ten years ago. It's has about 230k miles on it now, and the original clutch, as far as I know. It still runs great. The biggest part I changed was the water pump.

That's awesome. That ABS light is probably just a faulty sensor, most likely the rear hub. My 08 Yaris is approaching 300,000km. All Ive done is replaced the Alternator, Water pump, serpentine belt, battery and brake pads, shoes and rotors with all genuine toyota parts. Seeing these higher mileage toyotas gives me piece of mind because I drive these cars hard even though I maintain them. I even have an 85 Corolla GTS that hit 400,000km on the way to the race track and survived a whole day of hard driving at the track! It does burn quite a bit of oil though. Just make sure theres always oil in these cars and they will run forever!

2008 yaris sedan with 300k km in Ontario. I have changed the brakes an exhaust gasket and spark plugs in all that time bit of frame rust but nothing surprising. I go 10k between oil changes and use premium fuel (yes, yes I know that its not required). Seafoamed it once and cleaned the mass air flow sensor once and also put an oil3d kn filter in (yes, yes I know that's bad for it) Thats it really. Running smooth as new and same great mileage as always
@Prepare2Survive
@Prepare2Survive Месяц назад
Seafoam is really bad stuff. You should watch some of the tests done with it. I would never use it. You're just wasting your money using premium gas. It's not any better quality and that higher octane rating isn't helping you. The best thing you can do is just choose regular unleaded gas that's "top tier rated" There should be a label on the pump if it's a "top tier" gas. If you've never heard of it just look it up. Engine coolant becomes very corrosive after 7 years and it'll eat away at the inside of the radiator and engine if it's not replaced. Brake fluid absorbs moisture and will cause the steel lines to rust from the inside. Engine oil loses it's anti-foaming abilities after 1 year so even if you aren't driving the car very much you still need to change the oil every year and all the other fluids ( transmission, brake and engine coolant ) every 50k-60k miles OR OR every 5 to 6 years, whichever comes first. 10k mile oil changes is a very bad idea. 5k miles is best.
