I mean, nobody expected it, but that doesn't make it any good, they just gave us the twist without any context or clues or true reasoning for his ideals, everything in penacony is for shock value with barely any substance (yet), they hold most of the reveals and when they decide to explain them, they just have a character tell you directly all the info you need. It's still entertaining but if they don't get the ending right the entire journey will be for nothing, all mistery with no payoff.

The game literally gives out clue everywhere, from his LC to NPCs not knowing about him and he being “13”, etc. And “true reasoning for his ideals” will be revealed soon lmao, just be patient. Also, since you don't even read, that's why Hoyo letting characters tell you everything, so you lot can stop complaining every damn time. @@IgorJCorrea TBH the only reason he could be villain is his "Out of place" character. He never really do anything in plot for the whole first chapter, which raise a question what his role in all of this.
@@ranorunadaira1452 The standard points for a good mystery are the crime, the cover-up, the mistakes, then the detective worked backwards. The crime/s: People dying in dreamscape and entering the watchmaker's legacy (other side of the dreamscape). The cover-up: Not allowing people to enter the dreamscape hotel level The mistakes: ? The detective: us the Astral Crew Gallagher has not to my knowledge made any mistakes or possible reveals about his character in game. And every 2.1 LC treats their character mysteriously. It makes no difference as 'us' playing detective because Hoyo didn't give us enough clues of the killer. And they didn't create suspense either like making us click on suspects in our dialogue or allowing us to interrogate them in the real world. The Black Swan Side Memory was a perfect example of how I thought the main story was going to occur. Unlike a closed box mystery, very few characters directly interact with the main 2.1 cast (Sam, Sparkle, Ratio, Sunday, or Robin). Thus when NPC talk of course we're only going to hear about Gallagher because he's the only public one they'd CONSTANTLY meet to make an opinion and gossip. Thus the reveal feels lacking because (A) players aren't actively guessing (mindless dialogue smashing) and (B) there's few concrete clues in the main story to even guess. We as the Astral Crew don't even collectively guess because Trailblazer is the only one to meet all the suspects, and then there's the whole Aventurine storyline. Revealing to us players in a side cutscene is well orchestrated but falls flat mystery wise because we're not even involved as the detective.
The irony of Adventurine is he is extremely lucky. Sadly that also means a lot of folks around him are extremely unlucky. Hence he views his luck as a curse as he has lost everything he has ever hold dear to him. He wins everyone else around him loses. He lost everything except his life
I still wholeheartedly believe Aventurine is right: there is not true death in Penacony. All that Gallagher is doing with the "Death" meme is simply taking people he chooses behind the veil, between the wall, showing the inner workings behind the facade that is the Dream. The place that the Watchmaker rules and was forced to do so by The Family. For what reasons, who knows. Maybe the Watchmaker is evil, maybe they aren't. But, The Family definitely wants to keep it a secret. That's why Death took Robin, a member of the family who seems to want to give a voice to the voiceless. And after this conversation at the end, Gallagher most likely determined Sunday wants the same thing, but more importantly, that he truly cares about his sister. I don't think Gallagher is evil per say, quite the opposite in fact. He simply thinks the lies have been spun enough and wants to flip everything over.
I just loved that conclusion back to back. Literally no chance to gather your thoughts after Sam/Firefly reveal. I honestly thought Firefly was just Robin in disguise...
Let's see what they would cook in the next part, bcuz currently it's all cliffhanger and no pay off at all, which feels kinda bad for me personally. Hopefully they would land the payoff this time around, bcuz the setup has been pretty decent.

They can make train that fly through space, communicate between planets. Surely they can just make a remote-control suit right?
They are keep insisting on numbers. Gallager is not a Gallager, but an Enigmata double/spy. His "age" is 13, wich can actualy be true. Also it is a number of Death. Sam is 11. Wich tells absolutly nothing. I think 11 and 13 are number of cicles/loops. The thing keep repeating it self for some reason. Trailblazer falls twice into penacony in the story, he get wierd dialogs during his first dive, Acheron kills him with the same splashy goo effect. People who can go beyond know about it, White Acheron knows about it, Sparkl knows about it.

@@jonglopez5400 Yea thats why I don't quite understand the OP and the next poster comments at all lmao. I read all the text, lore and dialogue and never find any connection between those. What I don't understand is, SAM (Firefly I guess) said that she was born with the inability to dream. Is that like a literal liability or just a metaphor? Because when she was stabbed in the dreamscape, considering she can't dream and go to dreamscape with shortcut made by SW, then why isn't she actually died? Or who is she? Or the "Firefly" that came out after she was stabbed is like the propagation powers (to multiply itself) because the molten armors is powered with propagation? Or when you in the dreamscape, they overwrite all the physics and reality so they can't actually dead?
First time you see this you don't notice but, you can see all this was Aventurine's plan for Acheron to contest him to force her to break the veil. The second time you see the "Have I succeded?" as soon as he sees the black hole, you understand.
Question: Did he build Acheron at all in this fight? Like doing 20k on break and 30k on ult is something I didn't expect to see from Acheron of all units.
@@farequinas5615 How the heck are people getting those numbers? I barely do 8k damage in total with her Ult when I use Acheron. Level 70 is as high as I can level anyone up, and I also her her relics and lightcone as high as I can get them, as well, but she doesn't even do the highest damage on my team most of the time, let alone do well over damage in the tens of thousands.

@@Kashimo_Glazer I was genuinely asking. I don't know how my damage is so low, but it is. From my point of view, damage numbers you guys are claiming she has just seems impossible to me. What exactly is everyone doing to have such insane damage output? The only time I've ever seen numbers over 10k (and I'm talking barely over 10k) are if I attack the entire enemy team with an Ultimate, and that's only because it adds all the damage together in the damage display. I'm not doing anywhere near that much to each target individually
@@marksamson4173 Are you using correct team builds or at least build that compliment the dps('s). I don't have Acheron but i'd guess a rather low effort team would be Acheron, Pela, Luka or Guinafen and preferred sustain. Run a buffer team. (Sparkle, Bronya, Tingyun, Hanya) with Acheron + sustain eg: Acheron, Tingyun, Hanya and Lynx. At this point in the game(unless your kets and staying at lvl 50) you should be hitting easy 100k plus consistently. Start looking up guides for builds and stat priorities on your main teams. Even half built running rainbow 4* relics i'd still get higher numbers than your claiming.
You can use physical MC, he can cheese the boss easy > win the gacha with his E > get ultimate refill (for win the gacha) So you basically win gacha with E > use burst to hit him right after that > boss use gacha again > loop

I was pretty irked on his fight with Aventurine. Like I get Kafka and Acheron but Himeko??? You have 2 characters that would appreciate debuffs, especially DoTs and you bring Himeko who's only debuff is her burn which I noticed doesn't even apply that much during the whole battle. He could've at least used either a Guinaifen or a Pela and replace Kafka with someone else. He also had Jingliu since Aven was weak to Ice. Plus his SP management was pretty sloppy. Then again, he isn't really focused on the gameplay but on lore so I can forgive it a bit since he did finish the battle.
