The newest video released shows different. They procedurally generated the entire city to cut the dev time down to focus on filling the city with life and storylines. The environment and vehicles (and quite possibly bystanders) are destructible and indoors/outdoors are (so far) seamless integration. Let’s see how much of this is still there when it goes live
Netease are the publishers only. They did well as Naraka Bladepoint publishers at least. Naked Rain are the developers they are a studio that belongs to Thunder Fire and Thunder Fire is owned by Netease Games. Still better than being Netease Games themselves since I find the companies owned by Netease usually do a better job than Netease own teams
@@MrShamus22 The recent trailer was actually a lot of red flags for me. Namely, a lot of features but no fun context to them. Smells a lot like how APB did development focusing on features rather than core gameplay.
@@symphonixblades Naked Rain is a subsidiary of Thunder Fire Studio which is a subsidiary of NETEASE. Yeah, I don't have any hope on this game at all, it all looks too good to be true, they may have all the things that they showed in the trailer but since it's Netease it'll have some shitty monetization or game will be completely fkn different than what we have been shown. It's better not have hope than have hope and become disappointed when it finally releases.
I dont really think if its netease its going to be necessarily a bad game, a lot of mobile games from them are super underrated just like how a lot of them are bad too. One thing about them is that they make ALOT of games from different genres which can be an upperhand of experience compared to hoyoverse, and I really do think this can be their first big W
Honestly, the combat, the map traversal, the aesthetics...they are all major plusses to me. Like even if this game is like Genshin in the sense that it has no content, I still feel like it'd be a lot of fun just running around the map and beating stuff up with a yoyo or a Motorcycle Hammer thing. Fam lots of people just play Spiderman to swing around the city. I think that's content enough...they are doing something right
Mugen I remember are a fighting game that combines characters into one crazy game. Want to see Homer Simpson fight deadpool....Mugen Guess they also did this concept into other games other than fighting and combined them
Seems like cloud mobile gaming will also be an option to run the game at that level, lol. It's a beautiful game. Helluva ambitious game to combine Spiderman, GTA and anime girls haha. Legit more excited about this than Zenless Zone Zero, just hoping for the best that it's good on release 😎
i would keep my expectations low as i have been playing netease games since i was 16 and i know how they work. they always pursue interesting mechanics from mecha, fps and battle royales to moba for their games to attract new players but updates and new contents ingame are usually their biggest flaw. Id be happy to be suprised though.
What I think the reason this can be a heavy competitor of genshin is not even about the gameplay, the combat, or the open world-ish (though they seem to do it quite good), but What they're definitely do better is the character expression. If you know anything about gacha games, THAT, is the most important thing in gacha, make players feel emotionally attached to the character, genshin failed to do this, no matter how well the VA has done to make the character feel expressive, if the model can't keep up it doesn't matter, but they succeeded in Mugen. But net ease tho, it's feel a little bit unEASE when shit has their name involved. But I will never judge until I get to play it first.
50/50 might be... Choose to be a player that follows the rules of peace. Or be that player that breaks the rules... Choose wisely can be done once in entrance
Quest are unlimited with every different NPC that has different routes and bonuses gift packs! And hidden quest that pops randomly in random time, giving an best valued item for the player
Planning to release 10 characters per update in one go so everyone has many to choose from... Planning 100+ chars to be released in 10 consecutive updates per one month and half
you do know calling games genshin killer is just a meme, noone says it seriously genuinely meaning it lmao it is kinda halarious seeing people take it so seriously and sometimes even getting pissed off when its called that when its nothing but a joke
@@TheAn1meGuy yeah it's way too big now. It can basically stand toe to toe with League of Legends, Counter Striker, Dota etc. Franchises that will never be not popular or get shut down because they're too popular and the only way they can be brought down is if the company makes stupid mistakes
Genshin already killed itself, the community is just too stockholmed to let it rot in peace, exactly like league of legends. Someone who only understands "numbers big" will never reach that conclusion though.
@@darianstarfrog Keep coping, when you realize all things have an end you'll find out genshin is long dead, despite retaining players. 3 years is a good run.
It's real they showed it in another trailer they called it 3c system they have the standard walk/run the driving then the grappling/swinging controls. Now can a phone run this is the real question cause they're gonna need to be a wizard at optimizing for this to run smoothly on mobile.
Netease are the publishers, the developers are Naked Rain. And Netease did a good job publishing Naraka Bladepoint so I'm more optimistic about this one since I find Netease as a publisher sometimes can do a better job than as a developer
@@poxelus I've heard persona, I think I've seen it once. From first impression it looked more like Spider-verse animation style. I can't remember. While this ZZZ and PM looks like Budget Anime version of Guilty Gear series
@@poxelus Welp, I've just checked it again. Looking at the persona's 3D model, they look stiff and shiny. So I really don't see the persona on zzz and PM. Maybe because of the color palettes.
Net Ease is invovled, they don't have a good track record with their games. I've played most of their games and they just die. I hope this one can change that.
I realized that it really feels like the spideman game but with gacha system, not saying I hate it. I think the combat style is gonna be enough for some people to start playing the game
if you played honkai impact 3rd then you played: Project mugen, zenless zone zero, punishing gray raven, aether gazer and probably more I don't know of, and vice versa.
Как мне кажется это будет провал. Это видео даже не геймплей. Это просто рисованный мультик, там что угодно может быть. А оптимизировать такое количество анимаций и тд. для телефонов невозможно. Уже минус аудитория
Sadly this is netease omegalul.. dead on arrival. Just look at how they did to naraka.. paid - ridden with microtransactions. Turned f2p- x4 the micro inside the game.
Thats not the point. The main reason Genshin was a big success despite being a “copy” of breath of the wild is because at the end of the day it’s a “kind of” better version of BoTW. And similarities were at most surface level. BoTW is one of the best game there was but it’s mostly catered for seasoned gamers whereas genshin with its much more simply yet good enough elemental gameplay mechanics was a hit on the casual gaming market which is actually the largest market in gaming. Though quality wise BoTW is the better game but Genshin being a simple 10 minute game you play daily, it’s much more easier for the majority of people to play. Now Mugen looks to be on the “not casual” path. When it’s too hardcore, it could be a problem. Remember there has been a lot of games which is technically better than their other counterparts but is hindered by the inaccessibility of thebgameplay loop to casual people. For example, the League of Legends VS DotA2 debate. Arguably DoTa has the better mechanics BUT it “too complex” for the players which hindered new players from entering which ended in League the much more “popular” game out of the two. Despite people hearing about Dota rarely would they play due to how unfriendly it is on the new player or casual experience. Now I hope Mugen isn’t MMO base and learned from Genshin. Long ass content should be optional, and dailies should be short. That is where Genshin success comes from.
@@banir3736 You probably havent play Genshin really. I dont like that Casual time argument. While yes you could only do resin your dailies and log off there is also New updates that aren't small at all, packed with Sidequest Exploration Main Story Side Story and so on. Abyss Resets every two week. Events it feels like going longer and longer. Some did really feel like a chore even. You can more or less just choose your time in the game. Idk what you are talking about idk care about DotA or Riot but they arent a mmo though? Its funny to me that mmo peopl d literally screaming in the corner that gacha are and will be even more successful then now. Lol. Also Genshin is now a completly diffferent game then BoTW. It started with that yea.
I don't think it'll be a Genshin killer. I think that Genshin plsyers will just play both. Genshin has ingratatiated itself among its playerbase too much by this point to really get anyone quit for anything short of just a straight up betrayal from Mihoyo... or a rerun of the dogshit prophunt event. Long may Windtrace stay dead lest it be me taking a dirt nap... because I will commit toaster bath if they ever attach meaningful rewarda to that shitty game mode.
@@sneakretster I don't really care what other people want though. Y'all are NPCs, and I'm the main character (That's a joke). Genshin is a single-player game. Co-op, and any reliance on other players to complete content actively makes this game worse.
@@TheSylveonSurfer it's a single player game with co-op functionality built in that adds a different flavor to the combat experience. Genshin is also such a popular and talked about game that it was smart to include the multiplayer games and social aspects since it helps foster small communities within itself. I'm not a big co-op fan myself in most cases, but it's nice to be able to help friends out if they're new or if they need character drops or, in the case of more casual and social players, have game modes that promote group activities.
If games will be made for younger audience around 15 to 18 we are screawed amd so I will play skyrim that I never finished, so I get away from weebs and league of legends, warcraft grind shit, I am going chill normal person fighting, questing, and exploring worlds that we should do, our minds are on the shapes of a girl and that gives us urgency to talk about it and play weeb games, at the end of the day you becoming a weeb your self, think about it for a second, is it really what you should do? Are your generations wanted person that will tell you that is ok to play gatcha games and spend money, if no you should make a mind about the things you want to teach them about, not the things what they shouldnt do becose if you tell you son not to do, its his urgency to try it one day, Never smoke the cigarets and here we are, smoking every day just becose you tried it one day, oh no I my father was a weeb too so one video of anime wont hurt, ehm yeah they will find about the (chickens tail) if you know what I mean, just try or play different game that you never tried but stick to the good games like skyrim, minecraft, warcraft even its just a grind game, when you play game about lore and fun it must be visualy seen by the first glance, not like slaping shapes and looking like 🥵 I need that super hot girl that I want "just about good dmg"... yeah they want you to get the hot ones and start to play them just becose they are good as damage dealers, its like one champion in League of legends... Oh new Briar that hot hot feets, its a jinx so crazy like harley quinn you like, and the broken gameplay is just a bonus. If you understand what I am saying then try games that are a actually difficult and try to beat it, nothing brings the satisfaction as finnishing a boss in dark souls, or finaly get the diamond in minecraft as like: "finaly over 10 hours grinding, and find the diamond I wanted" thats all I wanted to say, if it was too much of text, confratulations you read a lot and you didnt need a book, I hate just commenting: "You weebs, play something like minecraft one day" its really not on the point, I want to tell you excactly what I am thinking. Yeah thats about what I wanted to say, if you read it to here I would like that you like or comment me, not by giving me money but you own opinnions and just talk about stuff, maybe tell me that I should be better, its always better to learn even from the haters. so give me you opinnion ❤ see ya!
