In my mind I'm seeing a sheriff in an ash wastes settlement with a posse hired to take down outlaws messing with the town. Or any other wild West troupe you can think of really! Add in some mounts with the new ash wastes rules as well 👍
Love this, already wrote up a useless fluff list (two dogs, captain with bulging biceps and heavy stubber, the rest is unimportant) who are deserters out for revenge against… something. I think it fits these thematic rules well!
I am midway through a campaign continueing a narrative from a previous campaign with my "outcast enforcers" which are under the hood a van saar outcast gang with a enforcer captain as its leader. I wish these rules had come out sooner! also I cant believe theyd remove the hardcase, I feel like they should get a hacked hardcase and not just a regular mastiff.
2 questions Damon 1. if the Arbitrator allows (which is me so yeah) can you make them GSC corrupted and make your leader a psyker to take advantage of the Leaders excellent will power? 2. If Conscripted Hive Scum can't gain xp how can they gain advancements and get promoted? Great video BZ are my top 3 favourite gangs
Yep, mine were gsc corrupted in the pic and it works well. Went with mind control on my captain for extra cool 😎 👌 in terms of hive scum, they do level up as gangers and get cunning skill access
Usually a combat shotty and a power Maul or something for me. Mind control is pretty great every now and then and doesn't state line of sight either, so you can do it through a wall if you like 🤣
Call me a conspiracy nutjob; but the gear list makes me think these guys were released with the new Arbite killteam on mind, all their gear lines up a lack of "rookies" etc.... good thing too I was going to buy the kit specifically for Necromunda
I mean I don't wanna be that guy, but I'm very much in the camp of "arbites have absolutely no interest in the underhive" lore wise that's for sure. Nice models, but for me they really don't fit in munda
@@wellywoodwargaming I think that depends on how you see the underhive, while they aren't interested in gang warfare, they are interested in the eradication of mutants and heresy. Considering we have no fewer than three cults (Genestealers, Corpse Grinders, and Helots) I think it would be very feasible for them to go to the underhive and purge what they can with the help of PDF, the ecclesiarchy and volunteers. As has been represented in numerous novels, especially after the events of Dark Uprising and the rising numbers of psykers in the underhive and Ash Wastes.
It's weird to watch this 2 years later and hear you say you love this game when you just said you don't like the necromunda rules lol (preferring Warcry I believe you said)
I definitely love necromunda more than anything and have done since 95! I just think the rules are a bit clunky and cluttered. I still love it though 😀
I think also I was having a brief "meh" with the game around ash wastes and aranthian succession so wasn't getting as exited as normal about things... hive secundus though... absolutely cannot wait!!!
@@wellywoodwargaming Yeaah man, can't wait. Do you have any folks around you that roleplay around the games? That's what we've been doing more and more over time
I would play but I can't read the grey on grey text. How is this not a huge problem for this game? The minis are cool though. I just use them for Stargrave and 5 Parsecs from home.
@@wellywoodwargaming i saw that the necromunda NZ group was based in Wellington and hesitated, definitely joining the group now though. My friend and I are getting into it with nomads and squats😂
Oh ok, I thought these were official miniatures 😂 they look awesome ! Si they were baddies in your campaign ? (I can't figure out how something ressembling a genestealer in the slightest would join the palanite forces x))
@@wellywoodwargaming hey, where did you get the head with beret, and the cthulu style head? your GSC Palanites are some of the coolest kitbashes I've seen, I'd love to make something similar!
