A follow up to my gang guide series, I dive into 3 lists for playing Genestealer Cult gangs in Necromunda. Please like, share, subscribe and check out my patreon at patreon.com/Wellywoodwargaming
I'm kind of hoping the next big box set they do for Necromunda is focused on Hive Secundus and has some new Genestealer Cult gangers and all new rules on par with the House of.. books.
Very cool Video once again. I really want your book, because I really love Aberrants without taking mandatory neophyts - but the Book of Ruin says „no“ 😅
Sorry to say that although aberrants count as gangers there is a separate rule that says you must have as many neos as acos and abberants and the leader so RAW its a no can do. Love to see the 3 pistol leader, it was cleared up in the FAQ 3 pistols are all good.
Yeah I'm a big fan of house ruling to get more variety on the table. We allow gs champions to have 2 wounds. We also allow ogryns to be point costed as ambots. Currently im trying to get the delaque thrall to get whatever weapons and gear they would come with from their previous house (added to the cost). One nerf: no leader champion or specialists from other gangs, just gangers. Imagine a Goliath thrall with a heavy rock saw. Expensive but brutal.
Pretty sure the gunfighter alpha with 3 pistols was FAQ'd to confirm that yes, you could fire all 3 in one round. Use it all the time, its not super powerful (i think heavy weapon and familiar is the way to go for an alpha) but irs a lot of fun
Kia’ora. Regarding the third build, whilst fluffy and awesome, I don’t think it is ‘legal’. If we’ve got the same version of Book of Ruin, check out Page 40 second bullet point. • The total number of Neophyte Hybrids in the gang must always be equal to, or higher than, the total number of other fighters (Leader, Hybrid Acolytes and Aberrants) in the gang, not counting Hangers-on.
It’s very confusing to have it squirrelled away in the text and is different to every other gang which defines the ratio of gang hierarchy and gang fighter. Would love to play with/against that list though. Thanks.
@@wellywoodwargaming is there anywhere in an actual Necromunda book or errata that updated their gang composition rules? I'm not really familiar with Necrodamas but I thought it included community house rules. I agree that Abberants should be counted as a ganger, but not sure if the official rules state that anywhere.
Oh sorry it's on another comment. Erm yes you do if you want to own a nice shiny book. Otherwise all the rules are available on the internet if you so desire
