I have fished a lot at George's Creek. And her dog is one of my favorites. Also have used a tube bait around some old submerged docks. Cool video

@@ScruffyCityFishing Boy I herd that. Can’t wait to get out there again. Saw you were fishing around Ijams , how did you do there. Let me know when you get to go back out on the kayak, like to meet up sometime. Also a new bait and tackle on topside road, it’s Dunmore Bait and Tackle. He may be open now. Going over there this weekend to get some more stuff from him. Take care

@@brianclevenger5779 ijams and the 3 rivers area is hit or miss, but it’s close by and I’ve caught some big fish there. I’ll definitely let you know. Trying to knock out some home projects now, so when the weather and bite is more consistent I can get out more often.

Great find !!! I subscribed today! I am just down the river from there in Concord. Where do you find Crappie this time of year, on Louden? I have fished Douglas for Crappie in the winter and they SLAY the SLABS there. Haven't found the sweet spot, on Louden yet. Also, have you used the Crappie Magnets from the guys in Maryville? Thanks for the info!! Nice channel! EDIT: Just read your bio, I'm an accountant.. HAHAHA..

Thanks so much for watching and subscribing! I wish I could tell you a good spot. A co worker goes out this time of year and always seems to catch limits. He will tell me go to X spot and throw X. I go the next day and catch like 1 haha. My best luck on Loudon has been in the creek at Louisville Point. Just be careful back in there. There are some shallow spots just next to the channel markers. I have a small collection of crappie magnets. I chatted with their pro staff at the fishing show a few years ago. They are big fans of fishing around the big boat houses without a float. I need to try it more, but haven’t gotten out there lately. I bet the attention to detail required to be an accountant helps with fishing!

Yeah man! It’s a good place. Ideally though you have someone to help launch the boat. I had a close call this trip.

I’m in south Knoxville. I like to fish close to home due to time constraints, but the upper end of the lake hasn’t always been kind to me. Where is your neck of the lake?

@@brianclevenger5779 I’m in the painful process of painting the baseboards and molding in my house right now. Goal is to have it done by next weekend when the weather looks much nicer. Did you go out and catch em this morning? I fish Douglas from time to time. Have had some great days of fishing up there!

@@ScruffyCityFishing Don’t worry, you sure didn’t miss anything. The rain let up about 9:30, the wind was bad, and my fish finder was covered with fish. Didn’t have the first hit. Oh well, that’s why they call it fishing not catching. I fill you with the paint. Got to do some of that myself. Take care.
