@Soundwave 47 Not on many cars and you had only one possible swap on cars that had it :/ Plus if you wanted to max out your car you would lose the swap trough the works conversion but I'm not sure. So yes there was engine swapping, which was good, but it was still quite limited.

@@wakeuptrell I can't really say I understand cause I still have Carbon on PS3 but I couldn't imagine how i'd feel if i'd lose this game. Such a classic and my favorite NFS out of the holy trinity which to me is MW05, Carbon and Pro street.

I think it's due to the slightly blue-ish hue from the night scenery. 2015 was way too dark and Payback was pretty flat

It's a fun car to drive.

It a all around solid car to drive. Even in Rally it balance pretty good drifting around corner on gravel and dirt, pavement is rock solid grip. Subaru was faster and lighter, I always love the look of the Evo X to look meaner and sharp.

Sir Smoke race will make you grip through corners. Road will give you an advantage on tarmac (more cornering speed and a bit more grip). An off road optimization would give you the same edge in off road and it would make the car have less grip and cornering speed in tarmac opposed to a road optimized one.

Road optimization is basically you buying a car from the dealer ship stock, or you making the handle/react in a stock/balanced way, it has a balanced handling system to where it can grip well enough, but it will be lose enough to do some drifting and some off-roading, but not as good in either, so it's basically "A jack of all trades, but master of none" kind of thing. Road optimization responds to the cars characteristics. If your car is a type of drift car like a 180SX or grip car like the Ferrari etc. it would usually be in the road type handling that leans a little to that type of characteristic either stock or tuned. Which reinforces the fact that every car in the game has a different handling style and balance that fits that car type. you as the player decides after what handling type balance suits your racing style and or comfort.

Raion Shishi to be honest I saw a full road optimized car going off-road, it slows you down massively.

@@Bes1997_ What did i just say in my last comment ? Obviously it's not gonna be crazy fast in off road conditions if it doesn't have the characteristics for it and or if it's tuned in a specific way. A truck like the F150 will have the perfect handling type for those conditions even stock. Road tires work better on the road then off road, that's just common sense/ simple logic. generally driving on the road compared to off road will always be faster.
