Need for Speed II SE - All Car Showcases & Stats. 

Now it's just a racing game with a soulless soundtrack, mediocre gameplay and personality that is tied to what is trending at this time. Heat instantly comes it mind, it's still an okay game overall but... Road and Track - THE Need from speed (1994) from all the way to Hot pursuit 2 (2002) was the golden era of it that have it's own identity and charm put into it. The rest of the games are a hit or a miss for me! More misses in the 2010's by far.

@@haaxxx9 the game was built around showcasing the cars, not really around the story. In that sense, Forza Motorsport 4 was sort-of a spiritual successor to it when they introduced Forza Vista and Jeremy Clarkson's narration for each of the cars.

Or probably it hasn't react well to the progress of technology. In thoose years all games had crappy physics, but just 5 years later if there was a Porsche in a game, it should have handled as a Porsche. Instead, in the beloved NFSU some of the best driftcars are FWD

This game and NFS 3 were the pinnacle this series. After that the game became very arcadey and lackluster. You have a couple every now and then that are worthy games like Most Wanted and the Pro-Street title.

NFS II was already ultra arcade with fancy speeds and physics. First game "The Need For Speed" was a great driving game for 1994-1996. Could even be called a simulator back then.

HA yes this goes for me too, I was 7 and supercars had totally become my passion since then, and regular cars too..... But that Ferrari F50 remains my favorite car ever till this day.

I know the GT-90 is the best car to date. Very sad that it never saw the light of day.

​@@damarfadlan9251Wrong, it was also featured in it's own manufacturers game that's quite underrated actually, it's called Ford Racing. You should definitely check that out...had a whole series of them back in the day and was pretty fun.

The 90's NFS games treated cars like automotive royalty. They gave you every reason to respect each one of them and no game has captured that tone quite like it since.

koenigsegg didnt exist say until 2002 when they produced their first car CC, which evolved into CC8S which later evolved into CCX which became the fastest car to dethrone the bugatti veyron and made its debut in the franchise since carbon as a bonus car by any chance you played with a mod which adds a koenigsegg
