This looks like a great game, Ghost and Criterion! Really improves on the franchise! Can't wait for it to come out.

These people are the real trolls of youtube. They go "nfs sucks balls but im gonna watch this crap anyways" and then they watch the WHOLE VIDEO and then say that it sucked and how they "want there life back" because the video was bad. In my opinion this looks awesome and NFS, plan on getting my money.

I hear everyone complaining about NFS being at this state. And they could have done this in Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted(2012). Just be glad they have some custom options besides dealer's paint. COMPLAIN TO EA, NOT TO CRITERION and tell them to get BLACK BOX to do it! Criterion can't make Underground because they don't "OWN" it, that's not their formula. If people can create enough BUZZ to get them moving; Then Underground 3 is possible. (Communicate with them on their discussion page and share your ideas; Stop Hating them in a site they can't reply!)

Best NFS EVER. In my opinion this is better than Forza Horizon 2! The graphics way better than FH2. I like F too but that always look like a steril racer every time. NFS is the real dirty deal !

And still i am questioning this, why does everyone want the customisation of underground back? Sure it was quite good, but i liked the older Need for speeds (especially Need for Speed: Hot pursuit 2) way more, due to the pure simplicity. I think i might give Need for speed Rivals a shot.

EVERYONE wants more customization! That means not painting your car in your favorite color or get some decails. That means body kits, spoilers and the biggest exhaust-system on earth! I don't get what happened to need for speed. Who wants to play this game online? There are so many racing games to play online and no playable racing game (except the older NFS's) which is focussed at the story line. And c'mon guys. NFS "the run". really? I want the publisher to read this, because every new release makes me and obviously thousends of players angry. All in all what i need in the game to pay money for need for speed again: CAR PART CUSTOMIZATION, BETTER STORY LINE (not linear), OLDER CARS TOO (who needs a boring red ferrari 458 spider, if you can have a tuned purple renault clio V16) and the most important: CAR PART CUSTOMIZATION, CAR PART CUSTOMIZATION, CAR PART CUSTOMIZATION! If you want to make your game more adorable to people, who simply like expensive sportcars with future weapons, you will probably sell more copies, but you have to realize: your shitty game will never be as good as NFS Most Wanted (2005). And please notice: I'm writing this not for me, not for others, not to hate pointless, I'm trying to make your game better. and yeah, i'm reposting this comment, because i want it to be seen.

EA doesn't own NFS criterion does EA just publishes it. i don't really car for customization. but small steps are good maybe in the next NFS there will be rims body kits and what not

Fortunately they did apparently, during the R8's personalization you can see a row of pre-set colors, implying that those are it's factory colors with the custom colors options on the far right, This was featured in High Stakes as well.

Back on the original Most Wanted, you could only change the aerodynamics of the car if you installed bodykits/spoilers/changed the hood.

Im glad to see that NFS is returning to Car Customization, but they're doing it the right way in my opinion. Its paint and decals externally, which I feel is keeping it in the realm of reality (I know the game is seriously pushing realism). You're not gonna stick a low body kit and big spoiler on a McLaren P1. I do agree with putting in performance upgrades as well. I personally would be glad to drive a gloss black P1 with a matte black stripe, a tuned engine, and pursuit countermeasures.

I will admit I missed a point(or word) there. There are PLENTY of awesome cars from the 90's with good performance, like the Mclaren F1, and the Lamborghini Diablos. I was alittle over the top with that comment, and thank you for correcting me

The Crew also has cars too. it also has customization but a lot more. If you have off-road race, you change your car a whole new look and tires to race. In The Crew, you can also join a race too due to it's massive open world gameplay. And come on, you can't say the world of The Crew is not nice if you haven't even played yet. It isn't even released yet even the Rivals.

Finally NFS came back to personalisation. After a long time.

You said it. I have played need for speed sense Underground as well. I love Need For Speed.

It is said on Need for Speed's website that the handling will be a mix between the Criterion NFS games and NFS The Run's handling. You don't have to do the Drift with L2 or Square anymore (or it's not the main handling characteristic in the game anymore, I should say). I also watched some vlogs on RU-vid of people's first impressions, claiming the handling is VERY difficult and hard to master.

Let's not forget the new studio in charge of this game, Ghost Games. You can play as an Undercover cop. New setting. And of course, awesome new cars

I can see that if the bodykit is made for racing and it ACTUALLY works, unlike the ones on most NFS games. Like the Le Mans bodykit on a Ford GT.

Hmm, does it have AutoSculpt? Because that was a really useful feature, changing the height and width of certain aftermarket parts.

Glad to see Customization Back in NFS. The Fact you can make your own Custom Police Car is AWSOME! This Game Looks like NFS The Run and Has the Quality from Criterion's Need For Speed Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted. So hopefully this game live up to my Expectations.

Even though I never played any of the Need for Speeds before 2000, because I was born in 1997, I still know what a true Need for Speed should be like. Also, for those people who thought Need? for Speed: High Stakes was one of the best need for speed's in the franchise, think about it: Need for speed high stakes lacked customization a bit, but yet people still fell in love with that game because it felt like a true Need for Speed. I think that is how Need for speed Rivals is going to be like.
