@@leot8412 the bmw m3 gtr... i cant stress this enough.... didn't have a supercharger. it only had the p60b40 motor + straight cut gears, & a lightweight chassis. Nothing forced induction at all.
I love the bassy aggressive sounds of this game's engine sounds, and what makes them stand out is due to the pauses in-between shifts. I can't tolerate cars with incorrect engine sounds though, like the McLaren F1 sounding like a V8.
@@elionthatblock9612 Y'all have some deeply disturbing issues if you think this unfinished broken POS is better than Unbound, this game is literally where NFS died and never fully recovered.
This game probably has the best car sounds in the whole franchise, even though some of the sounds are painfully inaccurate, for example the M6 E63 having a V8 sound and the Audi TT sounding like an Evo rather than a V6.
I will say the engine sounds always did sound good in this game, if I wasnt impressed by the gameplay I was impressed by the raw sounds. Did not care for the rev limiter sound tho, sounds like a rod knock lol
Because the game was rushed in development, the devs couldn't refine it in the given deadline by EA. This game was made alongside Prostreet, actually EA split the Blackbox team working on Prostreet in two to focus on both games simultaneously. Audio is not the only problem, the graphics and physics also are not refined.

I mean the game isn't that bad tho, if Black Box could've have more development time to make this game properly, it'd be a way better game, but this is EA at the time of 2008 so yea. I can give undercover more upvote for soundtracks and busted cutscenes as in vanilla state, but gameplay as a whole, yea, it's a mess. Mods can make it more enjoyable if you don't like or don't want to tolerate vanilla slop on pc and console. For my case, I already got used to it.
