1 month strategy for NEET PG. Here is the link: COMPLETE ROADMAP- last 1 month strategy for NEET-PG '24 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yFUABNPCsRk.html. Normalisation is a complicated process. It helps well prepared students score better overall if they get a moderate or tough exam. Nevertheless, the fact is your raw score needs to be as high as possible. So what to be done? Well in any scenario, you have to attempt to >175. The more the merrier. NBE won’t label the exam as tough or easy, it’s the average score of a shift which will reflect it. So for you- try to answer as much as you can. Normalisation doesn’t change your study strategy. All the best! This too shall pass.
Guys there's just no time left to think about this normalisation bullshit. Read as much as you can in the days that are left, guve your best shot. Its new for everyone. Everyone's gonna go through it. Hope that the best and positive will happen ❤
Sir easy paper tough paper we can't tell during the paper.. maybe we get easier sections before the tougher sections.. then we can't change anything in previous sections.. attempt to high Leni hi padegi.. jo time Mila h padhai mein laga lo.. ek hi tareeka h nauka paar lagane ka😅
This means it's a cut throat situation now. You give your paper in the morning shift for eg. you felt the paper was moderate to difficult and boom the examiner is announcing that the morning paper was easy and everything's fucked up
@@dr_granger268 because toppers will never be affected in any situation. It is us average scorers who want to get around 5k to 6k ranks who'll get their ass beat once again.
@@dr_granger268... This is the reason why we are having so much scams... No one is there to protest .. All are studying .. But ultimately all efforts are going in vain..
Guys..plz hear me once. Ye chutiya NBE bohot khel loya humara sath. Itna kya mr rhe h ye log jaldi se exam niptaa dene k liye that they r doing it in 2 sessions? Tabhi lo na jab single slot k liye centres available h. In our study group - ppl are writing this mail to some mail ids. Ye kua chutiyapa h..2 alag alag papers, papers bahar nhi denge, key nhi denge, candidate answer schema nhi dikhayenge..kuch b normalisation lagake..kaise b score denge aur fir bolenge he lo tmhra rank. Dekha na neet ug mai ranks mai kitna inflation hua ye sab grace marks, normalisation k chakkar mai. Kuch nhi krna h..bas 2 min nikalo.. Copy this mail's content..and send it to the mail id i m giving below. I m not saying isse pakka kuch change hoga but atleast let our displeasure be knowm to them in huge numbers. Kya oata kuch badal jaye.. Mail - Respected Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my concerns regarding the decision to conduct the NEET PG exam on August 11th in two slots. I believe this approach, which involves the normalization process, introduces several biases in the scoring system which decides our ranks and eventually the specialty branch we get into. The normalization process, though intended to equalize differences in difficulty across multiple slots, often fails to capture the complexity and nuances of each slot's exam. The lack of transparency in the normalization algorithms can lead to distrust among candidates, as they are unable to verify how their scores are adjusted. Candidates of different skill levels may cluster in certain slots, skewing the normalization process if not properly accounted for. Additionally, slots with significantly different numbers of candidates can produce unstable statistical metrics, affecting normalization accuracy. Outliers or extreme scores in a slot can distort the mean and standard deviation, leading to unfair normalization. Candidates often feel that the difficulty level varies across slots. If the normalization process does not accurately capture these differences, it can lead to unfair score adjustments. Variations in question paper composition, such as the mix of clinical versus basic science questions, can impact candidate performance differently across slots. NEET PG unlike other exams has no limit on the no.of questions that can be asked from a subject and hence it will be difficult to determine the difficulty level and normalise the scores in such a scenario where rote learning and clinical aptitude based questions clash This normalisation method is not an ideal 100% accurate method but is something that is needed mostly where a huge no.of candidates are appearing for exams that can't b fit in a single slot which is not the case with NEET PG usually. Even AIIMS discontinued it after seeing its demerits in INICET 2023 January session where all toppers were from the morning session. Normalisation method should be an option but not the only choice like how NBE did today. Moreover, the NBE's current practice of not releasing the exam paper, answer key, and candidates' answer sheets exacerbates the trust issues. Candidates have no way of verifying the correctness of their responses or understanding how their raw scores translate to normalized scores. This lack of transparency can lead to confusion, dissatisfaction, and a feeling of unfair treatment once the ranks are announced. We do not want to face a similar situation to the NTA's NEET UG, where fallacies in the scoring system, i.e inflation of ranks post result declaration caused significant distress among candidates. If NBE is justifying using normalisation process as other exams in the country also use it like IIT-JEE, then it should follow suit and release question paper, answer keys, candidate's answer sheets just like IIT does Only 2 lakh people give NEET PG, compared to other exams like UPSC, IIT-JEE where many lakhs of people give the exam mandating the need for multiple slot exams and normalisation. There is no such need for NEET PG. Up until now NEET PG was successfully conducted as a single slot exam. Why not now? I urge the NBE to reconsider conducting the exam in multiple slots. Most of our seniors are warning us of how the multiple slot exam by Prometric in the past prior to 2017, proved to be a disaster due to data breach and faults in normalisation, which is why since 2017, TCS started conducting a single slot exam. Instead of learning from past experience, why is NBE regressing backwards and is in such a hurry to get rid of conducting NEET PG 2024 by August itself even if it means jeopardising the sanctity of the exam and scoring system by an unfair normalisation process. We can easily wait till September for single slots to be available for a fair and equal exam for all. Its clear to us that NBE is holding the exam in 2 shifts due to lack of centres at a single given time. I would like to reiterate that JR3 in many states are posted till 31st december 2024 in hospitals which wont cause any scarcity of residents in hospitals even if exams are delayed and counselling starts a little later in October. So its in the best interests of students and NBE that NEET PG exam is held in a single slot, in September guaranteeing uniformity and an equal playing field for all the aspirants. I hope MOHFW and NBE pays heed to its students - the biggest stakeholders in this NEET PG exam and act accordingly. Thank you.. Plz mail krdo yaar. 22 june 2024 ko night Tak admit card with candidates for exam next morning for neet pg 2024 , phir achanak se woh exam postponed to 11 August 2024 but now NBE is not able to conduct exam in 1 go with a single paper for the same number of people jinke liye dedh mahine pahele tak admit card tha ? Online exam hai computer mein timing chalta rehta hai so neet ug mein toh bahana chal gaya paper distribution mein delay, wrong distribution wagiarah and grace marks k naam par scam walon ko marks , so neet pg mein kuch aur sochna tha so at the last moment paper postponed and ab decide kark aaye hai with new idea to hide behind with different papers, differents shifts, different marks on the name of normalisation/standardisation
Yrr isse acha to equal paper lelo. 1st shift me Aortic dissection, fungal meningitis, placenta previa and 2nd shift me COA, bacterial meningitis, abruptio aise pooch lo. PYTs repeated once every 2-3 yrs inko alternate sets me pooch lo. Itna kya difficult h yrr paper bnana 😭😭😭
Normalozation will always be wrong...... Suppose of there will be more number of toppers in any shift then mean will be high......and avg student will suffer in such situation.
Sir - but its not like the two shifts will be grossly different in terms of difficulty, people are making it out to be as though one paper is going to be extremely easy while another shift is going to be extremely tough. Both the papers will almost be in the same ball park of difficulty, todha sa hi different hoga na
Thanks doc but how do we know we come up with the decision whether the paper is tough or not in order to attempt 190+ questions when the exam is happening in 40 question set?
Why not they divide the two groups of students (as there are two shifts)and two separate 50 percent and 50 percent seat matrix of these two groups, that's simple!
This is not the case that Marks will be increased for all students. I know many of my friends who did appear in ssc and they said if you score very poorly in an easy paper then your marks will be decreased . In ssc cgl also candidates check their answers from answer key and just getting 30~40 marks but when result came their score was in negative becs they performed poorly in an easy paper. Reason behind this is this formula is inaccurate in extreme of situations in skewed data.
Let me also give an another real example one of my friend score 200/200 in ssc cgl in maths that too in diificult shift and when result came his score was 242 out of 200 and secured AIR 4 in ssc cgl 2019 Ujjwal is the name you can check his interviews also.
Bhai I respect you, you are intelligent but bhai hum kese decide kre ki paper easy tha ya hard ? Meri taraf se easy hoga but examiner ne bola ki paper hard hai tb??
Sir do you think the paper's still gonna be PYQ and PYT based? I'll end up crying in the middle of my exam if nothing's from PYTs and it's a hard shift but the exam conducting system announces it as an easy to moderate one.
PYTs se hi ayega. Don’t worry. Exam conducting body won’t label a paper easy or Hard. It will be judged by Average score in your shift according to me.
Very lucid explanation sir....but sir one doubt- since the exam will have 5 sets and we cannot review the whole paper...how should we assess the difficulty level of the paper i.e whether to attempt more or not? Please advise sir how much should be attempt to be on the safer side...
@@dibakardas8049 Bhai 190 attempt karne hain yar , correct nai😭 , exam main sara question padna Bhai answer karne se pehele, upar likha hai attempt Bhai 😭😭 190 correct karlo to rank 1 hai
But what is the need to conduct exam in 2 shifts, NEET UG has 25 lakh aspirants and if it can be conducted in single shift, then NEET PG can definitely be conducted in single shift with only about 1/10th of aspirants
Don't panic guys...if this formula is really applied without any sort of internal corruption...things won't be bad. I just hope they will set questions from similar topics in both papers.
Dear Dr. Rishabh, Thank You for your informative video. But, now it is sad for me to realize, as a medico myself and mother of a PG aspirant that my child's future and branch (which he would live with throughout his life) will be decided not by his own competency, but by others performance in his shift as well. What a pathetic condition...now no one can neither know their position nor challenge, unlike what happened in NEET UG this year (grace marks) .na actual marks se rank ka pata chalenge...na kuch kar paaoge. Ideally each student should be assessed on the same paper at the same time. I would humbly request Higher authorities to refrain from introducing new rules just before the exams....they should be introduced well in time.
Sir how do they ensure that the level of candidates is same in both the shifts.Marks should never be decided by assumption anyway .Something difficult for me might me easier for someone else and vice versa .
@@RishabhJain2970sir distribution of exam centres isn’t randomised .its allotted on first registered basis so set 1 will have more serious aspirants ( I’m assuming they registered earlier ). The unavailability of exam centres is the major reason they are doing this.they won’t wanna piss off people by randomly allocating centres.
Sir aapne dara diya...Sir I am someone who is getting between 400-420.... I am poor so I will become poorer? ...so will my score decrease if i get between 400-420
@@tanisadas1638 😅..can you please tell what would happen .? I am really worried..I know i have to study and not to think about it much....but I can't control on this
10:12 Bhagwaan neet pg wale baccho ko sahi salamat rkhe... Sir btau esa kyu bol rha hu ssc aspirant hu mai aur normalisation acche se smjhta hu Ye dekh li sir ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8LEkiS1BA5Q.htmlfeature=shared Hope it helps you
What will be the case if many toppers attend difficult paper and make it easy paper ....and an average guy get stuck with that paper ???? For example, out of 100 students attending difficult paper , if 70 of them are brilliant toppers , they will score big even in difficult paper In easy paper , out of 100 students, only 20 of them are brilliant toppers, then the top scores might decrease in that set , right??? Does this formula tackle this too ???
