I understand what the husbands are saying..they like it when their wives are expressive in their homes or in privacy..but they're in public they don't want others to look at their wives in a thappaane kannotam. When a couple is very lovey dovey and touchy touchy...men being men their minds may think in a not very decent way about a woman. The thoughts of men are not the same as women. The husbands want to protect their wife's honor from the lowly thoughts of other men.
Recently I saw an episode of south and North Indian food… I thoroughly enjoyed the episode the way the food was described was outstanding. There was this guest who pointed out that in North they food Rumali roti and carry to work for lunch and eat it with pickle. But in south India there is no such facility, actually even here we have something called Jolada roti… which can be carried dry by folding and keeping it in your pocket the same can be eaten with pickle, onion and chillies. So the point is food is emotion every region or state has its own culture but we are all connected by food… sometimes the taste, name and the way we cook can be different at the end we are one and the same.

Basically, all the participating men have inferiority complex! These men assume what the society will think of them when the couples are engaging in activities. Overly concerned about strangers' views. Their professions dont matter, their integrity & honour will not be tarnished by the wives' display of affection. The wives are spontaneous and vibrant. Some may have annoying behaviour but its manageable. Regardless of a housewife or a working woman, you owe the world to her! If she wants you to reciprocate her affection towards you, just do it.

Ofcourse you’re right, I know a woman here who was my best friend once, she act like so innocent and dance so childish in front of others but actually she’s a poisonous snake inside which took almost 3 years to understand her,, then I realized I was only so innocent and immatured, but I pretend as if I m so mature😂😂
