The bridge back to the verse has to be the funniest part about this one. It turns it into the CHEESIEST non tension point of all time i love it so much. For some reason the "shes all right, shes all right w meeeeEEeeEee" kills me 😂
Why does Negative Rick James resemble The Talking Heads this much (not so much the main vocals, but the instrumentals and backing vocals)? What does it say about our world?
Well if you want the real answer the talking heads are greatly influenced by funk and soul(as Is Rick James obviously) talking heads just mix that with post punk which is a little faster and a little darker hince why this funk song which is now in a minor key sounds like them
Steve, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love to know how you go about making these. Apologies if you've explained this before. I'm assuming you get your hands on the stems and use pitch editing software, but what exactly do you use? Also, what kind of converter/calculator do you use to determine the negative harmony?
First find out the key of the song, for example D minor, then write out each note. Then get the notes for D Major and write the notes underneath starting from the 5th note(A in this example) in reverse order. These underneath notes are the converted Negative Harmony notes. Use this to convert the chords/melodies of the song. For example the D minor chord has D, F, A. D becomes A, F becomes F#, and A becomes D which makes a D major chord. Hope this helps.
I would guess that the vocals are manually Melodyned and the instrumentals are probably replaced with MIDI and similar sounding stems except for the drums which can be the isolated track from the original Edit: expect when it’s like a bass, guitar or organ or something conventional like that, he might just play them himself
hello, i just knowed you from jaime altozano, i think you can do interesting things, can you pelase consider to do one with a cruel angel tesis?, the neon genesis evangelion intro, i would thank it to yuo very much and it could be so interesting, please and thank you
hey man, i dunno if you'd see this, but would you mind if i used some of your covers for projects i'm thinking of? they're very bare bones and probably won't happen, but i figure i'd rather get your consent now if i do decide to go through with them
