I have a SATOH ST1600D that looks exactly like your tractor. I do believe that mine is a 1979 year model. I’m very fortunate to have one of the largest Satoh And Mitsubishi tractor parts dealers around just a half an hour from me. I also have rebuilt both of my rear wheel bearings and seals the lift cylinder for the three point. Mine is 16 hp and 4 wheel drive. It’s a great bush hog tractor and with a sharp set of blades and 2nd gear on the (PTO) to make it run faster it will mow really well. I was told that they have 4 PTO speeds for running pumps in rice patties.
I am very envious of you having parts suppliers so close by. I think this one is around an 1983 model. I did however discover it actually has a 9 speed transmission along with the 4 speed PTO drove. There is a level on the left side of the seat that is a 3 speed reduction box for the drive wheels so you have 3 speeds on the floor shifter then 3 speeds on the side leaver. That's very interesting about the PTO speeds for the rice patties. Thanks for your comment Cheers
The poor old thing sat outside its entire life I suspect. We live not too far from the coast also and have a high sand content in our soils. I think that's why it fell apart so badly.
I have this exact same tractor s630 bull it's very difficult to find parts. mechanically it's in pretty good working condition but cosmetically it's got a lot of problems and it's horrible to find parts, in fact I just can't find any😅 very interesting to see at about 4 minutes and 30 seconds into your video the top left bolt holding the exhaust manifold on it sticks out as though it was the wrong bolt too long how is start somebody just stuck the wrong bolt in there😅 mine is exactly the same I wonder what is the purpose of that?
How you can help me mate, I'm from Philippines I have a problem regarding water pump of my satoh ST 1801 model do you have surplus water pump. Thank you.
