Negotiating the right terms on a deal can be just as important as the price itself. Often times when we are flipping a property, traditional bank financing can be hard to obtain. But in this situation, I was able to come to an agreement with the seller, where it was a win-win for everyone.
I was stuck on a $1Million price tag but was able to pay $ 1.1 million, all while making the same amount of money. By agreeing to get the home in traditional financeable shape before closing, I’m saving thousands alone on my hard money debt costs, which in turn, allows me to pay the higher price.
Remember it’s not always about the price, take a close look at the terms of your deal if you're having a hard time getting to the closing table!
