I started playing a week ago and I found your videos very useful! I would like to see in the future a video about the most productive layouts for day/night or strategies to maximize production, since the space is pretty limited! Thank you!
This is the most dumb game mechanics. It’s mostly luck and quite expensive to retry. I would highly appreciate if that was replaced with something more interesting
Thanks for the video. The game results are randomized as the 3:30 mark of the video, my pirates demanded 4 troops and 1 tunic before letting me pass. What's the deal with the stopwatch and what does 0/4 mean at the 3:44 point in the middle of the screen? BTW: Impressive 80M of food stockpile. I use them up as soon as I farm them. You should do a video on that.
Hi, yes, it is randomized, every player has different setup of resources in each encounter and each attempt. The stopwatch means attempt - you need one attempt to solve encounter by either negotiation or fighting - they are refilling over time so that you can play the next encounters later.
It says whether the item is accepted by the pirate (green box), someone else requires it (orange box) or none of the pirates require that item (red box). These hints can be then used in the following rounds of negotiation. The video is focused more on strategies of ATH, so technical details of this feature were not covered. But hope this helps.
Is there a possibility to get a 4th turn as in FOE negotiations? How are we supposed to negotiate without diamonds on the rounds with 7, 8 and 9 possible resources?
Currently there is no option to get a 4th turn (unless you buy it with gems). For solving 7 and more resources negotiations might help the compasses received from alliance rewards (for example I´m having the strategy of not opening these boxes until I´m in the 3rd map or so, where I need a lot of attempts to solve a negotiation).
Cultures! I usually move the cultures near the food and money production making sure my peeps are sickly happy. Then during battles i move them next to the barracks! But I invested in extra luxurious cultures so I wouldn’t have to move my buildings. And i got rid of 2 of my small farms!
You can connect to Game Center via ingame settings. If that doesn't work make sure your emulator account is on the same server as in your phone (AM / EU - if it's not, it's not possible to share progress). And if you try to share progress between different operating systems (Android / iOS), contact support, they can help you in that process.
