Very well-put ! Nehru was a great visionary. Despite many mistakes, what Nehru did in 17 years was equal to almost a century of work in pulling a divided country out of darkness, illiteracy, hunger and poverty to an accelerating economy, scientific advancement, self-reliance, excellent foreign policy, strong infrastructures

The main importance of Nehru is that he was truly a democrat. After Gandhi's assassination Nehru could have established a autocratic system like in other neighbors, and he was indeed the dominant and popular politician. But he didn't, he saved the democracy in this crucial time which we take for granted 😊

One big mistske I noticee in nehuru fake latter it is that in that letter Russia word was clearly mention... but every student of History subject knows that Russia was not called Russia in that days... it was called USSR....

Nehru was the real architect of modern India. He was a philosopher too and India to remain a non-aligned movement leader, along with Nasser of Egypt and Tito of Yugoslavia. In that period RSS and today's BJP had no positive role in our nation building! People today, who want to re-write our history as their wish fulfillment are practically lives in fool's paradise! Pandit J.L Nehru was the 1st & best PM of India. Any comparison will defame his eternal memories. Those who read tempered history are not less than modern illiterates.

Discovery of India and glimpses of world history are the books beautifully written by Nehru. He glorified India's history through these books. Can any politicians of this era match his level??? No way
