Story 1: Whole new meaning to the phrase: “Get your sh*t and say off my property!”

Second story: When I heard the part of the roof flying I wanted to be OP on top of that roof. Dangerous but so fun.

Sounds like one hell of a dangerous but fun ride

Last Story: That was a combination of making a point and killing them with kindness. Some people need to learn to keep their mouths shut, if you want to get a better spot in the line, then show up earlier.

I do agree anything can be called art and Im sure the helipad could be considered art. Im sure neighbor did have a valid excuse of art freedom. but Im sure that only applies if the land is yours or have permission

ones peroneal rights end when they impede upon another's rights. and the right to your own land was violated by the "artist". people just assume rights are absolute. but they have limits.
@adriennegormley9358
@adriennegormley9358 9 месяцев назад
@@neockso true. Where I grew up, we were taught, firmly, about the general concepts of one person's rights not infringing on another's:;"Your right to swing your fist ends just short of the tip of my nose." Same principle.

How do you "wake up to a helipad"??? Helipad are extremely reinforced so they absolutely did not build it overnight

Why wait to sue over the helipad? Trespassing and property damage are crimes. The police could have settled this much more efficiently.

Cos its a bot story

It's a bs story. A helipad is tons of concrete and rebar. It wasn't built overnight nor could be moved.

BS. Not only call law enforcement, but FAA about an unpermitted heliport.

It’s a made up terrible story that makes no real life sense.
@rudykraft5526

I also think it’s likely the story is a fake. However, to answer the question: you sue to collect money damages. The police won’t do that for you. frankly, I think most of these stories are fake, if, for no other reason than no one ever mentions collecting punitive damages, which would clearly be available.

First story reads like it was written by someone whos been binge watching bad westerns from the 50s. Nobody talks like that anymore!

How the F*** could a helipad be constructed on your property without you KNOWING??
@DesiArcy
@DesiArcy Месяц назад
I would assume that the "art piece" was simply a large concrete pad in the style of a helipad, not an actual functional helicopter landing facility. Just a simple surface pour of concrete without any foundation or reinforcement, probably painted with helipad style markings once half-dry.

My boss was fluent in French. She was in a hotel elevator, in Western Canada where English is spoken, with 2 other women. They were conversing in French and making rude remarks about my boss, thinking that she couldn't understand them. Boss let them ramble until the elevator doors opened, then in FRENCH, she let those two have it. I wonder if they ever bad-mouthed someone else, in front of them, thinking they wouldn't understand.

How does a helipad, let alone several form-builders and concrete trucks, pass OP's notice so the pad magically appears one morning?!
@shadowpadinc.2058

I have heard the second and last story before, in regards to the last story it does not help build positive connects to foreigners to your country if you treat/talk to them nasty whether they know the language or not. Also speaking bad about them around them even if they don't know the language is very rude and is pretty much talking behind their backs. I am American but have done some traveling and often try to learn about other cultures if I can. I like how OP handled it though with killing them with kindness.

First story: Says is "art", well, he made art in someone else's property, so OP could easily destroy it and that neighbor couldn't do sh*t about it. Edit: Seriously, what did this douchebad expected?! First he tresspass and damage private property, then doubles down on what he did, the court tells him to fix it and he doubles down AGAiN, and only after he sees real consequences he begins to cry. Law doesn't care of "art" if said art is breaking other laws and harms others.
