I live in the rural midwest. What you are suggesting can be extremely expensive due to the large size of our yards. Several tens of thousands of dollars. Even a simple barbed wire fence around a field can be several thousand..... and well it looks like a barbed wire fence. 😅

@@Gilhelmi I figured this would be the likely comeback. I never lived in a house where the acreage was an issue; they were city lots up to 60 x 100, and all were fenced. My aunt & uncle had a half-section, some 320 acres, and though they were never well-off, they and the five kids fenced the entire property with barb wire. I'm sure fencing can be pricey, but I reason so was your property and your house, and you want them protected.
